  I sit in a state of quietness,
  connecting with all I see.
  I sit in my castle,
  a castle that was built long before
  from the beauty of Mother Earth and Father Sky.
  
  When I take a breath,
  I feel the blessing of the sun set,
  to welcome in the night,
  and put to sleep the day.
  The cat keeps me company, as a sister
  while resting, to feel the energy of the wind.
  The wind that swirls about
  lightly brushing the sweet grass
  like that of a comb
  
  With each candle I light,
  I take another breath, and send my gratitude
  for the four legged ones
  who move so gracefully,
  My honoring is released once again as I inhale
  for ones that swim within the waters
  and those that fly across the sky.
  And yes, the last candle glows before me.
  It burns for our ancestors who,
  have gone before to carry the wisdom of all times.
  
  And my journals that sit upon the rocks
  holding my truth will beckon,
  beckon to be scripted on in the coming days.
  Until then, I sit peacefully
  traveling in but another dream.

  And as I soar, upon the open sky, I sing.
  Sing in the colors of all.
  My yellows, are carried with the sun that shines
  even through the rain.
  My blues, remind you of the cool waters
  that show the moving waves of ones feelings.
  My greens, are of the wonderful mother,
  who you stand upon and gather strength.
  My browns gently caress my body,
  to celebrate all who live on the mountains, walk on fours
  or swim in the seas.
  My purples, hug you with the winds, as stars twinkle,
  while we honor our ancestors that have gone before.
  And as I fly, my feathers touch your gentle face
  in a nights dream. So you sweet ones can fly,
  fly in your paths knowing we are one in beauty.

  I took a breath and blew my wish
  upon a silken stem.
  I blew my wish into the sky
  and watched it rise above.
  It drifted with the wind so gracefully,
  until it was taken by an angel.
  And then I smiled.
