On the Meaning of Life and Avoiding the Pleasure TrapNever seek pleasure for its own sake (this is a death trap). Pleasure, any pleasure is not an end and should not be made into one. The selfish and senseless pursuit of our own gratification is not the intended purpose for any life and life was intended to be full of meaning in ever increasing ways.Get accustomed to obtaining your pleasure through God. By the pleasure it gives the loving creature to please God.Always put him before you. (this is a must). Do not yield to your personal cravings. They originate from your lowest self and are mostly irrational and seriously counter productive. To ascend you must first conquer your lower self.Be attentive and receptive to your higher self, give him the chance to get through to you. He always appeals to your higher nature and knows and wants only the best for you.Make your love for God your principal reality. Anything else should not even come second.Cherish the opportunity to become the person you where meant to be. A realized Son of God. To live this truth is the purpose of your existence. It is the goal you had in mind in the first place for coming here. It is the truly gold medal you can win and the one sure way of earning the crown of life eternal. Anything else simply will not do. Gods standards of excellence onto perfection simply don’t allow it. If you coldly consider the implications it makes perfect sense and should make the decision of forsaking worldly pleasures easier to make.To try and obtain both worlds at the same time is an ill advised pursuit that hardly ever works. “Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven”. What else than total commitment springing from true love would be worthy of God. In your free will it is entirely up to you. And after all it should come as no surprise, it is the first commandment.The primary consideration of the will is whether to serve God or to serve oneself. One path will surely lead you to life. It should not even be that difficult of a choice. One leads to nothing the other one leads to everything and each of the paths confirms this with every step. It is to no avail to take steps in different directions, not only you will surely take much longer to get where you want to go, but you could never get there. Considering that everything is at stake prudence would be highly recommended.Let the emerging light of your love for God be your guiding light, companion and support. Rejoice in the fact that you are doing the right thing and you will be happy that you did someday.Prudence is the blessing of a wise heart and wisdom always leads to truth and light. Don’t fall into the notion for a single second that it is alright to please yourself for a while, by illicit means.Strengthen your resolve to make your love for God your first and only priority. Feel your nearness to spirit increasing as you purify and refine yourself. This true delight is yours to be had. Anything else is a shameful waste of time and opportunity.Overcome the trap of your lower self by progressively attaining ever increasing levels in nearness to your higher self wherewith your greatest and miraculous potential lies. The merit is for you, the honor is for you. The rewards shall be for you as well.Treasures like nothing that can be found on this lower world of passing illusion. Within the perspective of transcendental reality everything becomes very clear, do not allow yourself to make irrational decisions from the obscured perspective of the lower world considerations alone. Fight your very own animal nature if you must and through reason and will become master of yourself. For this is an essential attainment in your progress towards spiritual growth and development. You’re will subjugated to the reason of your light, guided by that greater light also inside yourself.Most people are not even worthy of themselves how can they possibly be worthy of God. The aspiration to be worthy of God is manifest of the growing love towards him and is borne from the maturity of the realization of son ship. There is nothing more important or worth having than achieving this state of affairs.It is the goal of all life, of every life. It is life itself. Anything else simply demonstrates the lack of sufficient growth to make this attainment possible. There is simply nothing else to be had. It is the first goal of life, to warner enough light onto itself to qualify and earn the prerogative of all realized Sons of God, that of life eternal.Fan the flames of your love of God within yourself. Treasure it and keep it as your sacred fire. There is nothing outside of it more precious or more rewarding. It is the one true way to happiness and life. Exert the strength to pull away from your irrational drives and allow for the blossoming of the purified and refined energies that will naturally move upward now that the shift of the focus of attention and manifestation has made this possible.This rising in consciousness above the lowest plane of expression opens the door and makes possible everything that is god and desirable. Represents the spiritual maturation from spiritual infancy into an increased spiritual growth towards the realization of spiritual adulthood.The meaning and the purpose of life is obviously, life itself.The free will of all Sons of God is dedicated first and foremost to the execution of the Fathers will. Inside this pure, enlightened and sincere hearts no greater joy may be derived from anything else other than pleasing the Father. This is the blessing of blessings and is received by the fullness of the love of God in their hearts.This being the greatest truth that they experience at any moment. Their primary focus of attention and main motivator. Indeed the very purpose of their existence as it was always meant to be. This state of enlightenment and heart growth is within everyone’s potential and is the True North for life. Everything else is just meaningless details.Through the mastery of your lower self and by the yearning for your higher self you indeed ascend towards him. The control of mind and body is essential. Our purposeful existence has now become the driving force in our life and we become who we where meant to be.Life previous to this moment is insignificant in comparison and has value in relation to the contribution of the experience towards achieving this goal.The reality of this truth is so self evident that no other confirmations is required and doubt has no place. Indeed the treasure of the kingdom of heaven has been found.With much Love, your brother in service.

    That part right there - thats where you lost me. Another religious zealot who views God as a separate entity from himself.
    I for one, will not be 'forsaking my wordly pleasures" for you, or God; and you know what?
    I'm pretty sure he's ok with that because I know I AM.

    You are here to experience life in the fullest capacity imaginable to you, with an emphasis on the word IMAGINE. God wants you to be the biggest and brightest being that you can be, and express yourself to your fullest capacity.
    Not - to live a frugal, conservative, restrained and miserable life under the pretext that God somehow will approve of this total devotion and abstinence and reward you at the end of it all. All that will happen is that you'll have a very miserable life to reflect upon, and you'll be kicking yourself when you think of all the things you COULD have been doing and/or experiencing. But I guess in that reflection some valuable learning will have taken place and you will set yourself up for a different experience the next time around.

      I agree with you on this completely Mischa. Much of the original post did not resonate with me, just a part of it, the part I commented on. I myself like to enjoy life to its highest gusto. For me God is NOT outside of myself as a separate entity, although all organized religions seem to want people to believe that. I do not buy into that, and have never felt that way, I feel I am a part of God experiencing life expotentially through me and all other humans and species etc. Nor is God an entity that you have to make sacrifices for or do pennance to or forsake worldly pleasures for or negotiate with for mercy. I am not looking for a reward at the END of my life, I am enjoying the rewards of living my life to the fullest! Whether it be an excellent meal, excellent sex, excellent relationship or excellent surroundings, lol. And as for groveling, doing pennance and trying to feel WORTHY of God, why should I do that when I am part of God and he is in me and at the very root of my existence, is that not worthy enough? I never would have made a good monk or anything like that, that is for sure. Call me a heathen those that might, but this is my viewpoint on life. I am here to experience the good the bad and the ugly, and make no apology for my lack of adherance to religious dogma. That is just who I am.

      Yep, i started living when i got rid of the god complex and the religious dogmatic insanity of restriction. Why would a god want us to be less than everything we are suposed to be? By God you did not listen to me in paradise i will punish you forever...wel Adam and Eve that is... and to really punish them (even if they have been dead forever by then) i will keep punishing their offspring...duh!

      My friend, to consider yourself to be God, one with God, together with him, a litle part of him just out and about having your own adventure, is one of the common mistakes people on the road to spirituality often make.

      You may consider yourself to be at best a son of God, but not God.

      I agree,everytime i hear the word God or you need to please God my hair stands up...the same with the son of God and his sacrifice. What sacrifice? I do not pretend to know the truth, but i do have experience in a few things that do not seem to corespond with the God thing. And the same as Marique i used to have abilities when i was a child that were put away by the same people who love-fear God, and never seem to get out of their own problems, i geuss they do not pray hard enough to God. The catch 22God.

      Mischa I kind of agree with you. I feel that this message is asking people a bit much considering the conditions we have been coerced into living in by the ruling power elite. I think its right that we should let our carnal desires to take over, but to be completely perfect, that is another thing. If this is the requirement of ascention I think you will find a very small minority of people on this planet will make it.

        I do not think only a smal minority of people will make it. Once more than 51% goes over the rest will follow,i thought this was a universal law,i might be wrong but that is what i understood would happen.

      I understand from your statements that you believe everyone’s life to be self generated. If this is truly the case. Are you able to effect positive changes on everyday life?
