  I believe both the poor innocents, and the wealthy ppl with many cases of psychological suffering...
  they all suffer, because of the HUMAN STUPIDITY, and the HUMAN MIND...
  The human mind is controlLed by the EGO, and the EGO is the biggest enemy of man....
  the human mind is that which still keeps the innocent suffer, and the wealthy to suffer for other reasons...
  the human mind keeps ppl separate, and where there is separation, there is suffering...
  if the ppl dont drop down their ego's and unite, the suffering wont stop even in a 1000 future lives...
  i dont believe in today's world past life karma is responsible for this...
  if the humans were acting from their HEART today...we would end all this suffering in a day...

  thank you all for sharing your thoughts and experiences on this big question. i know it's kinda a bummer subject, but i was listening to a program yesterday morning on KPFA and they were interviewing now grown indigenous people from parts of Canada who'd been kidnapped/stolen in their childhood and placed in these "Christian Schools", where they experienced all sorts of atrocities at the hands of so-called nuns (etc.). you get the picture. it just started me wondering, not for the first time, on the "why's" of it all. anyway, i found all your responses very enlightening, refreshing and even spiritually comforting on a certain level. i sometimes forget the limitations of this 3D dimension and find myself asking for more/better from it! i also found Michilin's perspective interesting "the karma dharma brahma stuff is not so popular here..." lol! i bet! well, i will continue to put my gratitude and compassion out onto the wind (like butterfly wings) and try to walk in optimism and love. ;0) thank you all, you just saved my life today. ~peace and guidance~

  thank you for your thought ryan. this question is one of the things that has always kept me up at night, and sometimes dampens my moments of joy... so, i'll keep searching, and try to make peace with all aspects of nature and all our souls' experiences. just wondering & collecting ideas... ~peace~

  A good friend of mine and i have just been discussing this. I often contemplate this question a lot. The only explanation i can realize is that possible that many have already experienced these circumstances in past lives or have yet to experience them. Its a question no one can really know. It just is.
