It's more complex than that Lori. Which is why it is so hard to be on this site and read over 96% of replies that fail to take in to consideration certain - many things.
It is interesting though that now suddenly out of nowhere there are two topics dealing with the subject of looking at darkness or one's shadow. I wonder how much and for how long this wisdom will hold. And how far do people realize this goes.
"Light" as explained by higher dimensional entities does not mean gifts from goody goodies. It simply means information or living knowledge - and anyone can use that.
They also differentiate between love and light, which means that other possibilities are possible, that you are not opening yourself up to knowing about. This may hold for others too.
Love being the essence of which everything is made of, while light being the information that is used to direct love in order to make the vast array of beings and realties.
This is the most important of lessons, one that humanity failed in Atlantis.
Light technology is a buzz word used in the New Age movement, if you drop it, you will be open to simply the word technology. Perhaps it is there to deflect attention away from itself, in telling people that it is something that it is not.
And technology can be used by both polarities. As so well exemplified on Earth.
People would be wise in being careful with experiences beyond their level of awareness.
There is so much assumption and belief in the New Age that, at times it feels like just another religion.
When people are faced with new experiences beyond their level of comprehension, they revert to acting from their most base emotions.
As you and everyone can see, many, many were disappointed by 21 Dec and that was just a date.
Imagine how everyone would react if ETs gave them everything they wanted in one moment but never told them that it all came with a heavy price. Most would jump at the opportunity, simply because they have no wisdom in such matters. Nor ability to know the true motives. It really comes down to the most basic of things and you can very easily "buy" people out - get the mass consciousness to agree with something that is against itself in the long-run. At least until another master cycle. If it is something they have absolutely no prior experience with.
And mass awareness dictates the time at which this planet can become what we all dream of.
Until that moment, as long as people continue to ask for negativity or negative experiences, or an STS orientated influence, it will be provided. There is a great, great deal of knowledge that I'm not mentioning here as it is worthy of entire topics onto themselves. Everyone must realize that no matter how positively orientated an entity incarnated on the Earth, they are still always open to manipulation. And that's an extremely spiritual person. What about the average Joe, who is still deeply stuck in creature comforts - a world that technology seems to dominate? Do you think they would recognize light technology? Or would they just ask whomever could provide it, to give them what they want just because it is available for free.
I would be glad if tomorrow a wave swept the whole place into higher awareness.
But if that does not, what is the future going to be, unless we build it ourselves?

They're probably on vacation; enjoying the holiday season in real life, and spending more quality time with family and friends.
How about you? Do you have friends & families to spend and enjoy this holiday season with? or is sad, alone and bored which is why you're here on internet acting miserable? I'm getting this feeling that you have this great disappointment in life that you're trying to mask by blaming and mocking others.

I'm noticing a lot of people in 2012 are now waking up in regards to the current gun issue. WE ARE HAVING FINANCIAL PROBLEMS ALL OVER AND WHAT IS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S #1 PRIORITY? Taking baby-steps outside the legislation process to make people turn in their guns. NOT BUDGET CUTS, NOT TAXES ON ALL CLASSES. Gun-confiscation was the same #1 priority as that of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot (BEFORE MILLIONS WERE SLAUGHTERED). People are now waking up to this; it is no wonder that people like Senator Dianne Feinstein (who is pushing this anti-gun legislation) now has 5 bodyguards, and all are armed to the teeth.
It is a good thing that things will never be the same as before 12/21/12. The ones that are happy with all this chaos will stay in it and wonder what all the fuss was about. We who are looking forward and not behind-- will probably not remember all that was.
Maybe the fake channelers are learning how to master their new toys,
