Our family friend Jay Mckaughan passed away this morning after many months of battling Stage IV cancer... Please send him your prayers/thoughts...
My brother's words:
Jay Has Passed.
Tonight shortly after 2:00 am, Jay passed away, surrounded by his wife and three children. His daughter called me just a bit ago. Jay was a great man, and one of the few closest friends that I have. You rarely in life are blessed enough to find people that we are able to befriend in that way, and I thank God for the opportunity that I had to get to know Jay. Please send your thoughts and prayers to Jay's family. I will fill everyone in later about any service for Jay. Thank you to all of you for donating and helping out earlier on. Every dollar donated has helped Jay so much, and from the bottom of my heart thank you so much. Jay was such a fighter, and fought the bravest fight of them all. I always admired Jay's amazingly strong will. Please feel free to send your love and prayers to Jay and his family, but be sure to be patient and give them and some time to grieve if they don't respond. No matter how much you prepare in your heart for things like this, it never gets less shocking or easier. I am very sad that we lost him, even though I know he doesn't have to suffer any more.
