The apologies were about misunderstandings and the insurance companies pulling crap that he, The President, had not understood, and for that, he apologized. Obama did admit he lied. and here is the NBC quote:

Was that so hard? Did we really need to go through a week and a half of Obama supporters trying to redefine the English language to prove Obama didn’t lie?
You prove to me that this senator has a history of being a racist, and I'll apologize. Otherwise the thing speaks out for itself: he was correct, Obama lied. And please don't tell me that because the senator is from South Carolina and white (therefore racist) as your evidence.
