  there are so many kinds of love my freind there is pure love which is unconditional power of love which comes from god.

   

  and there is also true love when you love somebody so much that you want to spend the rest of your life with that person whether they are a guy or a girl freind or partner.

   

  and thats all i can think of and yes love is and is not just a substance its a purity of oneness within your heart if you have that there you can say negative energy will never fall you apart.

  love is the space, between, within, and constituitive of all the things that we see as real including our self

  it is all there is and there is nothing that is other than that

  it doesnt mind and it isnt mind but it is all of that as well

  when we get all emotional about it's presence or absence ( LOL) we call it love...a better name might be "interconectivity" or "all". or perhaps " yes thank you" ... you could pretty much call it anything...."gods" another good one( but that one gets all political sometimes)

  so yes and no to the question at hand......... its what we try to speak about.. and fail to aaprehend in words

  love is a riddle.....and im gunna blog something to that effect as soon as i send this reply

    ...there is one category of thing.. that is the issue you ask of.... and then there is an infinity of categories all of which are incomplete.. visa vi non existent in themselves.... the main sub categories are 1facts 2 feelings 3 thinkng

    as for the last ...i reckon we mostly think our heads up our arses.....balance all three sub cats ideally ?

    and one more coment...perhaps my most erudite....blah blah blah

  I hear people, and I've been there too...go....why is life so hard? Well, we're making it hard! That's the only reason! Life is just a reflection of our inner being, we are creators of our lives, nobody else. Placing blame out there somewhere is just a scapegoat, it's shying away from personal responsibility.

   

  We need to dig within us to figure out...what lessons do I need to learn, in order to be able to love myself and others unconditionally. Because all of life is geared towards teaching us that very lesson. Everything. And until we learn the lesson, life will keep handing us experiences that test us, and give us another opportunity to choose unconditional love.

   

  Sadly, though, most of us, me included, usually end up failing the test, and therefore the lessons have to keep repeating over and over, until we finally learn. And it isn't really about learning anything, it's more about UN-learning, it's about dropping whatever beliefs or hang ups we have, that keep us from loving unconditionally. I'm really starting to realize this now, at the deepest level lol This is great!

   

  And I know this isn't everything, there is so much more to love than this, and other people here I'm sure can give you  other parts to it. And no, love isn't some physical substance, any physical substance or measurement of love is just that, a physical substance and measurement....because just like everything in physically manifested form, it always comes from the formless energy of thought and feeling, of idea and love inspiration.

  Well no, love is love, love is universal. Animals love. Love isn't a mental concept, it's an energy, an E-MOTION, energy in motion, that is funneled through our hearts.

   

  I know scientists and people like atheists will say well love is just a chemical process in the brain, we just kind of learn to love due to environmental and cultural programming, and no love isn't a universal principal, if anything the universe is unloving and impersonal, or else bad things wouldn't happen...like what Einstein believed. Love is just something creatures have developed, to make evolution easier. And it's all pretty bogus, if you ask me.

   

  I think love is the fundamental principal to all existence. Our whole lives are based around love. Everything you do is based on love, one way or another. Either giving love, or receiving love. Even very materialistic people, who care so much about nice cars and nice clothes and having a big fancy job and alot of money, only care about that so...A. they can love themselves for having such things, and/or B. So other people will love them more, which will make them feel more worthy of love, which will make it easier to love themselves lol Because they think, well if people love me, I can love myself. It's actually the opposite, the more you love yourself, the more others are going to love you.

   

  And alot of what happens in life is geared around teaching us that we have to love ourselves, no matter what happens, we have to love unconditionally. Because the universe isn't the type of place, that is going to hand you people who are going to love you, if you don't love yourself lol No, it's more like...oh you don't love yourself, well here...here are more reasons not to love yourself lol And I see that all the time with people around me, and I've experienced it. And we wonder why....all I want is people to love me, why am I getting such crap lol Well because we have to learn...that the love we seek comes from within....and we have to look within to find that love for ourselves, that unconditional love, not depend on outside things for our sense of self, and our sense of self love. And when we find that, our world will start changing, suddenly...people are going to start loving us. Because the universe is a mirror, what we hold inside of us, is always going to be reflected back to us, that's just how it is.

  Thank you Kwest.  I am filled with love no matter what it is or how it is defined, whether an emination, emotion, or a cosmic force driving the universe and making up all that is.  All the answers here are so good and cover so many aspects.  I thoroughly enjoyed this post.  Sending love your way in great quantities.
