The Bible tells people that it's fine to eat meat.
Romans 14:2
“One man's faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him.”
Thessalonians 5:18
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God”
Apparently Jesus ate meat:
Luke 24:42
"And they gave him (Jesus) a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them."
Something else interesting saying those who tell people not to eat meat are devils speaking lies:
1 Tim 4:1
"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:"
Also my Dad has told me that the Bible says that eating meats makes you more immune to dark forces. I haven't found this but I trust him I think....
I am quite sure that most people here believe vegetarianism is the only way. However this means you must say the bible is wrong. So it's wrong right?

One night a bunch of us monks got stoned and wrote our own book of the Bible. I'm not really sure, but I think it got into the King James version as Ezekiel.

SO a fat book about 2000 year old theory's.... Hmm I prefer Zoo mag and just being a good dude.
I personally eat a plant based diet not because of anything I have learned in a book. I choose this diet out of love and compassion for animals, humans and the planet.

I have wondered this for some time.
Now the bible...is a book that is used as a tool, like would i ever lie if i would swear on it in court?
People use it to scare others.
I read it a few times, thought it was interesting untill somebody told me it was real. Now this telling happened when i was a kid.
Needless to say kids believe almost anything, especially when it is teached togethere with fear.
Me i did go and test this Devil and God thing as you have read here before, and came back empty handed.
I think it is amazing that people give a book so mutch power, althought i have experienced that if you write down something...it might actually happen.
I never ge tinto religeous debates they tend to become violent. Especially when fanatics come into the picture.
Now my mother is a fervent defender of the bible, and she has a very weird way of thinking about what love is, but then she came out of her own hell to learn this book and interpret it her own way. And there is no way on this planet that you will make her say diff about the teachings in this book.
Like all this chinese talk, you shall not kill, but God mandates you to kill...etc etc.
Me at home i always found out about the sentence that allows parents to raise their kids with a iron hand, like moslims are allowed to hit their wives.
I know manny here and elswhere understand this book as it is really...still they live by it un-aware that every thought and move is dictated by what is in this book.
This does not mean the book is thruth, it just means it has gone around the globe, and billions of people have read it in religion, and sects that seem to be so good in manipulating things to their advantage.
We have a smal or no clue of who we really are, so to be able to feel conected we just suck up to this bi-product instead of going for the real thing.
It is a pitty so manny believe in this garbage...take it from me...there is no hell or heaven..i tried it.
Eating: I would say that gluttony is wrong. Gluttony is one manifestation of greed or great spiritual neediness.
When the soul is hungry or in despair, many people resort to comfort eating when they are upset or depressed,
this form of comfort is an illusion, it creates more neediness in the end.
Eating is a basic requirement and we should eat just enough to sustain a healthy body.
I consider the Bible to be just like any other information available to us today. We need to use discernment in ALL things.
I fully believe that we each have ALL knowledge within, but, in the density of 3D, we don't remember what we know. It's all a part of our Soul essence, thus, the need to go within to check out everything.
Personally, i "test" everything I hear to see for myself if it is Truth or non-Truth. I am an experimenter or experiencer, for sometimes this is the best way to determine Truth.
I was exposed to biblical teachings from a very small child up to my early 20's and that's all I knew. However, even as a very small child I had questions about the so-called Truths in the bible. And now.....I know that there are Truths and there are distortions and dis-info in it. It has been said that everything about reincarnation has been removed from the bible by a well-known religion in order to keep us in fear and more controllable, which makes perfect sense to me given the conditions on the planet today.
I gave it up as a source of Truth a number of years ago and these days I am relying more and more on my inner guidance. I feel that if we have a strong enough desire to know the Truth, it is available within.....or we attract it through the Law of Attraction.
As far as the meat and demons thing, personally I have found that there are often heavier energies attracted to meat as the unconscious intention and the trauma that the animals experience on the 3d leaves an imprint.
Also even as a vegan, I firmly believe that there is no "one" way or one "right" way - it's just different paths for different beings at different times. What's important is that you live consciously and for yourself and true to yourself. We are all one and it's nice to vision an existence of harmony with all of earth's kingdoms and creatures :)
