  This is a false idea of the mind. The mind says it cannot believe in something, or do something, so there is a limit. But the true limit is just the mental idea of the mind being real. 

  Pure conscious awareness, just watching your thoughts, beliefs, feelings, emotions without judgement is not limited by anything. It simply exists. There is no ring-pass-not for consciousness. There is no "ability to do something" or "ability to understand something" for consciousness. It just observes. It does what it does. And when it turns to observe itself, Deep or True Self arises. Again, there is no ring-pass-not. Anytime you find some limit associated with a supernatural ability or natural ability, it is bogus. It is on the body or mental phenomenon level. It is unreal. 

  We are only Eternal Self. No limitations. Whether we accept it or not.
