  no the number 666 is divine sacred symbol for the carbon of man. Got nothing at all to do with evil. Thats what the churches so successfully built in your memory banks to scare you to even go anywhere near the beautiful number, where as the 999 is the divine crystalline formation of man. You need carbon to be beautiful.

  It also means the sacred geometry of a triangle pyramid. 66.6 x 66.6 x 66.6 degrees in an equalateral triangle, do you see what 6th dimensional beings created when they asked the rocks to be part of something really special, when the rocks of the pyramid thought it was a good idea to be a grand part of an eventful history in time they recreated the shape that was necessary into the correct divne sacred geometrical patterns they shaped themselves into being and became the perfect mathmatical shape they stayed into when the shapes were formed.

    Yeah great observations Brother. Not being a christian I don't really have the same association as other people with that 666 thing, but I do notice a lot how the "power elitists" like to hide powerful symbolism in plain sight and that is a number that comes up often. Probably one reason being that which you pointed out (6-6-6->18->9), they often seem to justify their control and greed by claiming to be beyond duality. Also worth mentioning, anyone can do this too if they like, encode their creative work with symbolism, it can be quite a bit of fun :)
