I thought most of us could use some cheering up, so here a few song suggestions that always help when im feeling down!

Here is a song that relaxes :)

Just remember that these struggles we are experiencing are part of life lessons or maybe to just flush out all the old! Nothing bad will come of it, it won't last and remember things can only get better, at the end of every cloud there is a silver lining!

Recently i was having a hard time, things were getting me down, not anything specific either, it just seemed like everything. I was quite lucky as my life itself wasn't falling apart, it was only improving really, but i just didn't feel right! I couldn't complete my University coursework, leading to a course failure however it was only music so its doesn't really matter either way (a music degree gets you nowhere these days)

This song is a nice reminder to not give in and to just keep going (regardless of whatever you are struggling with at the moment).

Here are two songs to make your eyes water!

And finally two Oriental influenced ones of mine :D

I will post some more later when i think of some more! Enjoy!

Peace, Love and Blessings to you all

    • For that i listen to Meshuggah haha, they are my favourite metal band! This is pretty good... :)
    • heh heh heh!:) I remember watching a documentary about this band and Gaahl, interesting guy! One of the crew members were mad they had to walk in the intense Norwegian snow when they were interviewing him lol :p
  • Yeah, I like Gaahl. I understand what he was saying about what he believed and why. Ever since that documentary, I always imagined him living secluded with no electricity too, drinking wine, painting etc. I believed he grew up with one other guy all those years!! ooh thats silly, they should just tell the truth! :/ Maybe it was just to add more of that mystery factor to him.. those guys so would it seems? Every time Gaahl would try to get on a deep personal level with them, it seemed like whatever he said would go passed their heads!

  • I LOVE violins in music too marianinia:)..mandolins..ukuleles..spanish guitar. Something about string instruments that get me. They can bring that romantic, relaxing, peaceful quality you mention and bring out the feeling of love. Time to listen to some music now!! maybe I'll post some on here while I'm listening for everyone:)

  • Here we have one of my all time favourites, really nice vibes and lyrics, very inspiring and re-assuring!

  • Music can heal all wounds it seems, don't know what I'd do without it...love all the songs on here. Glad you included the sacred spirit songs also at the end. Been listening to Native American music alot lately and reading about Native American flute. Thanks so much for sharing, Daniel:) Love to you dear.

    • yeah i have too! recently i have been getting bored of the music i susually listen to and only this and other intense world music has been good for me. Now i am trying to make it myself, this is my first real good attempt at crossing what i usually do with something a bit different! give it a listen, it is very chilling, give me goosebumps every time! haha
