Stranger in a Strange Land

Has anybody else here read Stranger in a Strange Landand had it affect them profoundly? The idea of the Church of All Worldskind of reminds me of some of the attitudes that we have here. They arealso attitudes that I try and strive for every day.

There is an actual Church of All Worlds (CAW) based on the organizationin the novel, and I did join their website-- but to be honest, theydon't have quite the same appeal as the all-encompassing ideas in thenovel.

I'm in the middle of reading the book again for the third time this year!

    Amelia, I've lost track of how many times I've read that book. And, I must say, it fits the way I've felt this lifestream to TEE. I don't recall the Church of All Worlds. Looks like I'll have to read the book again for the umpteenth time. :o)
