My guess, not a gate to hell (maybe from the other end :P lol ). Hallucinations? Probably from the gases being emitted from the mineral spring/underground...just a guess/thought.
Can we be of total pure Light, or total pure Darkness, or possibly a mixture of both? Can one see darkness as the number zero, climbing up to total Light as Infinity. We on earth as somewhere in between one and the other, being tested and schooled by the Light of the Unknown for worthiness?

Hell to me is basically a mental illusion brought about by religious brainwashing, and a tricky way of fooling believeing sheep into supporting such a scam. If you believe in a hell then you may reincarnate back on earth again, but if you have evolved to the point where hell doesn't exist to you, then you may be initiated to a higher spiritual relm within the Unknown!
