Everyone is a part of God, everyone. Not a single person is separate, so what does this mean when you reject or hate another? If your goal is the realization of the Divine Mystery, then every Human Being, every single part of your life is a piece of that Puzzle. I highly recommend embracing it all, not ignoring any tiny bit. If you do that, you'll have an incomplete picture, a limited vision.
Everyone in your life has a gift for you, and you have a gift for them. More accurately, you are the gift, and you can also get to know yourself more deeply through your interactions with others. What we need the most now is for people to come together, not united through some belief, but out of Love for themselves and each other. We have so much division at the moment when we could instead be learning so much from each other.
Many spiritual communities form cliques, which means "a narrow exclusive circle or group of persons held together by common interests or views". This is not a very helpful thing, it just creates more division and separation, which is something the world does not need any more of. Exclusive groups with exclusive teachings, is this what it means to be spiritual? If it is, perhaps we should toss out the whole concept of spirituality and just focus upon being Human Beings.

Insular - separated from other people or cultures : not knowing or interested in new or different ideas : dwelling or situated on an island
We have insular spiritual communities, and ones that often want to convert more people into believing the same way they do. I wonder, does this have anything to do with Spirit? Do you think that's what God is about? Many of you chase away people who don't believe the same things you do. This is a religious type of thinking, it's a behavior designed to protect beliefs. Religious people believe they need to fiercely protect their beliefs or else "evil" thoughts might start sneaking into their minds and even people who know better than this often continue the same patterns.
We have the opportunity to unite people, and not through conformity of beliefs but through tolerance, acceptance and most of all Love. It's okay to not believe the same things, our world doesn't need more conformity. It's not up to you to convince everybody to believe the same way you do. What we really need is people coming together despite their differences. We need people celebrating their differences and what makes them unique!
You have so much you can learn from other people, and not just spiritual people, everyone!

Excellent message Will. Such true and forthright thoughts. We are all pieces of a puzzle, each a complementary part of the jigsaw of humanity. I have to say that the most difficult people that I have dealt with in my life have been the people I have learned the most from, sometimes if only learning that I do not want to be like them lol. People who have taken me outside my comfort zone have really done me a favor. Sometimes people have been downright nasty and hateful to me in life but if nothing else I have learned tolerance of differences as a survival skill. Every one you come in contact with has something to offer or something new to bring into your life in some way. I have never shied away from people just because they hold different opinions or beliefs because there is always a perspective I may have missed or new ideas that I never would have even thought of and they have enriched my life in some way. I have experienced being labeled and picked on in new age communities often and austracised because I did not necessarily believe the same thoughts and core beliefs due to having had different experiences with "aliens" than most people have been fortunate NOT to have had. Still I stay in the umbrella of the new age communities because all the while being persecuted I am also learning why people believe the things they do, which is due mostly to a difference of life experiences. Sometimes people have opened my eyes and I found myself expanding my knowledge and beliefs and many times when people had just wished I would go away because I did not hold the same beliefs I would NOT just go away just because they wanted me to disappear. I wish I had a dollar for every time I have been called a shill or troll because I would offer my perspectives and beliefs to people who did not want to hear it because it did not mirror their own beliefs....I hope I have learned the art of still treating people with respect even when disagreeing, and that has definitely been an education and a journey I needed in order to grow. I do not want my life to be insular because the real learning a growth comes when we are outside of our comfort zone. When humanity can learn to embrace and learn from differences and still love each other as fellow humans just having growing experiences then we will be well on the way to a much brighter future which we could build together out of love.

now this article is good. thank you. i will communicate only if you agree with me. i have no reason to let go of a false notion proven false, is this: after stasis everyone on earth will be self correcting.
self esteem, to actually feel, honors to be with all equally. romance, best friend syndrome is the opposite of high self esteem. and a New World Social Order will occur. hanging out with people for reasons that have nothing to do with i have fun with you, because you make me look the cool cat; ego reasons, false reasoning to befriend.. people who do reject at all, never were taught how to be a friend; they think they are to hang out only if they need you for something; minute they don't: off with you. what are we to expect, when best friend syndrome is even immoral?, but taught as if normal. sending our children to school to be outcast? i know more then one person who is in this mad mode to be popular still; and they are 55! grown down in moral character. a 55 year old who would laugh at someone for missing teeth.
yet, never was taught right to begin with, is not fair.
conscious pi: Yes, I've had some "fake friends". They act like your BEST FRIEND but if any TROUBLE comes up such as you're down or in need of help, they DISAPPEAR. What ever happened to loyalty? What ever happened to sticking by someone through thick and thin? They are FAIR WEATHER FRIENDS. I've had a lot of bad experiences, I find it hard to trust ANYONE anymore. Their behavior reminds me of the Biblical verse: "In the End Times, people will be lovers of THEMSELVES, devoid of affection".
yes, i have also. but, as i am sure you feel, earning. more quickly then if i had known loyal people. but it
is scarring also to meet so many mean people all the time. more earning replete; as a new world order in socialization doesn't befriend for ego sake anymore, -- to experience, to know honorable people, will help.
