The unfoldment of this situation can be described from a martial artist perspective. When you attack you become more vulnerable because your giving up your defense(a window) making you even more open to attack with an exponential energy reversal, using your energy/momentum back toward you (additionally your mind is shifting in two different directions, the surprise and shock, and of the shifting of your energy). Well you don't have to speak for me at all, I know why I follow politics, and I know it has nothing to do with being a casualty in some info war, I follow politics because I understand what Hitler and others talked about, when they said that politics is history in the making. Geo-politics makes up the world around us. When spirituality and politics come together, the world is gonna change. You guys have little pea brains, you can't understand how actually important politics is, or how it's important you understand your responsibility to be engaged in the political system, so it doesn't turn sour, and correct it when it does....you don't even want to talk about it and pretend it doesn't exist...you're part of the problem...and that attitude certainly won't change anything, it'll sure make things alot worse though.
Oh but I have been, our family was sued by our landlord who also happened to be the mayor, with trumped up charges, there was damage to the walls because of bad plumbing and he was responsible for fixing that, and he didn't, instead he tried to sue my mom for 10,000 dollars to fix it, a poor single mother on welfare. We went to court, my mom had enough evidence, and witness testimony, to show the house was a dump when we got in there...which it was...and the judge didn't listen to any of it, he seemed completely disinterested in the case, and it turned out he and the mayor were buddies who went to lunch together. My mom lost the case, and we were ordered to pay 10,000 dollars to him.
So trust me, I've experienced first hand, corruption in politicians and the judicial system, as they make life harder for regular folks. Lucky though, the mayor had some kind of heart, and he only asked for 800 dollars in the end...which was still absurd, it was his responsibility to fix the plumbing anyway.
But, I also know, that not everyone is like that. Politics isn't some entity, it's made up of people, like all of life is...and not every single person in politics, or in law, or in police, or in military, or in media, or in anything, is bad. There's alot of good politicians out there, I went to school with someone who ran for mayor in this town, he's a very good guy. I know there's alot of good decent politicians who really want to do good things for people, and we need to support these guys. We need more good decent people getting in there, and running for public office, so we can outnumber the bad guys.
That's what needs to happen, what do you propose happen...nothing? Ignore it and hope it goes away? Come on man...think real. You can not recognize government and say, well I'll do what I want, first of all, it won't work, second of all, you can ignore it all you want, it'll still be there. We mays well work with it and try to fix it....oh and by the way, that's what a responsible citizenry does.
@John..brother you sound HIGHLY brainwashed!! Politics corrupt society..Are you not aware that a society based on democracy is destined for ruin. You need a republic and not a democracy! As society evolves even the republic will dissolve into a higher form of governance called self governance. Politics is the platform for corruption.
