The gun is an invention of mankind, designed to kill....Until the manufacturers STOP making them, banning gun ownership among civillians in America is not going to stop the problem....
In the UK recently, a van driver went mad with his vehicle, killing multiple people deliberately....Shall we ban all vans, to "help" keep everyone "safe...?" Of course not....
What needs to be changed are destructive thoughtforms....As these are what causes such incidents...
Moreover, America is not a society based on any real justice, being highly competitive and offering the people nill security and financial/spiritual wellbeing...People need esoteric education, so they can understand the law of cause and effect more completely...Most fail to understand this and society does not teach it...
If guns were banned universally...INCLUDING ALL GUNS HELD BY GOVERNMENT POLICE & MILITARY FORCES...then maybe a petition would serve a useful purpose....
That means you have to disarm the government first, then criminals, then yourselves. Not the other way round.
I just got this question in my head whilst thinking about the subject of restriction of guns. I will make something clear, that I personally would never use a tool which is purposed for harming another being or animal no matter how threatened I would be. I don't think guns are any solution to anything. And I tootally agree with the people saying in here that it is better to work on the problem which makes people pull the trigger rather than just try to ban away weapons and criminalize it in the U.S.
So here is my question. Here in Sweden it is not easy to legally carry a gun for the average person. Now I wonder, there is so much talk about how dangerous it would be if they took away the rights to carry a gun. I wonder why? Why are the Americans so afraid to lose their right to carry a gun? It sounds paranoid to me. Is it because then you would feel that you have no power to defend yourself and those you love from the supposed "bad boys" knocking on your locked door?
Give me some good reasons why it should be legal to carry a gun, and when it should be used. And if that would improve anything.
