The recent church shooting is truly a sad affair. It seems like every few months, there's another and some people have gotten to the point where they just shrug, say "too bad" and tighten the grip on their guns. Some will even go so far as to covertly blame the victims by saying that they if they had guns, this massacre, this terrorist attack wouldn't have happened.

And there are those who make disgusting excuses like he's just "a lone wolf" or just "a bad apple". Reminds me of this:
Right wing logic 101:
1. Violence committed by someone who is Muslim? Obviously proof of organized, orchestrated anti-American hatred and jihad.
2. Violence committed by someone who is black? Obviously proof of cultural pathology and dysfunction in the black community.
3. Violence committed against police officers? Obviously the fault of those who criticize police brutality and protest the killings of unarmed black folks by cops.
4. Walmart greeter says "happy holidays" to you throughout December? Obviously a war on Christmas and Christians.
5. White guy kills 9 black folks in a church after telling them he wants to kill black people because they are "taking over" the country? Who can POSSIBLY understand the motives for such a thing? It's inexplicable! It's something we can "never understand," (Gov. Nikki Haley) and we shouldn't even "pretend that we're going to understand" why he would have done this (Bobby Jindal), and it might even by the work of the devil (Rep. Mark Sanford), or anti-Christian hatred (after all it was in a church!) (everyone on FOX), or the result of a larger "assault on religious liberty" (Rick Santorum) or even an anti-South Carolina statement! (Steve Doocy of FOX and Friends). Or the result of "people not understanding where salvation comes from" (Rand Paul). Or just because the shooter was a "whacked out kid" (Lindsey Graham).
The extent to which conservatives will go to deny racism would be stunning were that denial not so tragic.

And then there is the conspiracy theorist excuse. The one that's been used over and over ad nauseam. That being, "it's a false flag." Ever notice that when a white guy shoots up a place, the above excuses are used including the false flag? But when anyone else of any other color does the same, they're a criminal, a terrorist or some other damning label.
False Flag. I've seen that excuse too many damn times to count. And on top of it, the conspiracy theorist goes off and blames the president, who is a person of color, of supposedly doing something nefarious while the country is distracted by the shooting. The very notion that the shooting of people of color or anyone else, for that matter, is "just a distraction" is supremely and intensely disrespectful. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. To say such a thing is to imply that the lives lost didn't matter. And to say that about people of color implies that they aren't as worthy of attention and mourning as white people who die in a shooting.
It's another attempt to whitewash, no pun intended, racism in this country, and it's a covert way to try to get the white shooter off the hook for the crime, that act of terrorism. How dare anyone cheapen the lives lost by claiming it's just a distraction. Also racism and America's every growing and sickening gun culture are not to be ignored. Injustice, inequality are to never be ignored. Deaths of innocents are to never be ignored. They are NOT distractions but calls to action to heal our nation and ourselves of the virulent poison that threatens to help destroy the United States.
Until we face the truth of what is going on in this nation and in ourselves, we will continue to bear witness to the deaths of innocents like those of Sandy Hook and those at the Charleston Church. It is time to put an end to excuses, once and for all.

here's the problem; if someone wants to kill someone they can use a knife or a baseball bat/hammer/ etc.-this guy converted to islam and was going around the workplace harassing people to convert-he is also black-bet most people didn't hear about this because the anti white media buried the story. I agree America is in for a lot of cleansing and removal of Karma big time. But I also agree that if more people did carry guns that these shootings would be less frequent,like several times this year and last where people with guns stopped several shootings and robberies. USA is the last country in the world where this is still possible. The police do not stop crimes they just try to catch the criminals after the crimes have been done.. Soon the people will have to protect themselves from the Federal govt. when Jade Helm goes into full effect on the 15 july. but in reality the civil War has aleady started there.
