What is a walk-in? In almost all of these dramas the new change agent has an agreement to do this before it is done. In all cases it was agreed upon when the first inhabitant became incarnate, and not finalized until one's choice to be done with living actually occurs. As this is not a "take-over," one must decree the death wish before the new incarnation can dive in. When this occurs, both souls are in the body for awhile until the original one has the control of its ability to leave. As this can take many years, both need to be on the same page when choices are made. When they don't agree, the original occupant takes the lead. Only when the first occupant does actually leave does the new one take over.
Can this happen without the mind of the body in question being aware of it? Yes. It is unusual for the mind to notica a change of consciousness in the body in any of these actions, because the mind does not appear aware of its own development. What does become evident is changes in the body's choices, and answers to the original occupant's disturbances are quickly found. When the new life begins, another decision is made about what needs to be completed on behalf of the original occupant. Many are distanced from the dramas once taken very seriously, and choose to eject themselves from choices made previously that won't continue from then on. Are all aware of these choices? No, only the new consciousness is aware enough to choose a different mode of living. Most continue to live according to the first occupant's established lifestyle. Some do not. Preparing for an exchange is not done. Settling in needs time. Once complete, the changes in the body's way of doing things may alter completely, as a new aspect of the One is now in place. Many walk-ins are ascended masters coming in to aid the creation of a new world.
Will you be different as a walk-in? Yes. Can you tell if this has happened? Only if you can access contact to higher awareness. Many never even accept this total change as a new soul incarnation. Others are aware of it, but not secure in talking about it. Some announce it to all. Can it occur and you not be aware that it did? Yes, most love to enact new choices and don't care who or what chose them. Few admit they had a walk-in occurrence. Self-awareness is the key to more understanding about all things human. When this completes, you are able to have awareness beyond the mind. Walk-in occurrences are often accepted when this level of awareness is available.

Interesting Klaas, and thanks for your sharing :D So what you are saying is that you cannot actually remember entering at the age of 6 until those 3 years ago from now? That would imply that the soul entering a new vehicle will have the same veil of forgetfulness upon itself and won't remember doing that at that point. So the concious mind will maybe not feel something significant except that you act maybe different and more "wisely" if you are a wise evolved soul stepping in from that point onwards? Is this correct? :)
Wow this was a new concept hard for my brain to understand :P. So while my mind thinks I am all the same soul since birth, there can have been occuring a swapping between two souls with me still thinking I am the same "self"? So in order to understand this and not be scared of it, is to understand that the mind is still the same, while this happens on an unconcious level I understand that you wouldn't notice a big difference, except for feeling a great inner change.
This is not to be mixed up with awakening is it? I feel I have changed dramatically in two years in spiritual developement. An inner force that has lead me to discover new paths of life, but this doesn't always mean I've had a more evolved soul take place in my vehicle instead, does it? I mean, the very same soul would still have a chance to awaken at the same great speed that is available when a new one takes over?
I also want to understand why. Is it all because of the original inhabitant soul not wanting to experience that life in that vehicle anymore that arranges a swap for someone more eager to enter. And the benefit is maybe better suiting in a situation for the newcomer to take over rather than to have to incarnate in a new body, you could also see this as a sort of not having to let a vehicle go to waste and this way will reduce the number of new vehicles born?
I also wonder. If a person decides to commit suicide and succeeds, then on a soul level what would be the explanation that another soul didn't take over the vehicle before the decision of killing the vehicle was made? Is that all a choice of free will and not so much to do about it? I mean, souls must prefer to take over a vehicle if it can rather than to let it die off. This maybe has to do with soul-contracts as well? I'm trying to wrap my head around this interesting subject which I never had given much thought to, so thank you so much for introducing it to me :).
Hopefully you understand my newly arised questions about this and maybe you can give me some answers based on what you know or think about it.

How do you make a walk-in leave?
Hello there good that you brought up this topic as it is long overdue. I am a walk in from the pleades.This has happened to me twice in my life both times after a traumatic illness. This was confirmed to me several times independently and a lady in america whom i met confirmed this when she read my aura she told me i had two the aura of laura and the one of the walk in there are several books on this subject and in usa there was ev en a society called walk ins for evolution. I have certainly changes through these experiences and have become more spiritual doing what i do today. the total process can take up to 10 yrs to complete there was a lot of stuff that i had to work through. but i have so much confidence now and no i am not the person i was born as
this only occurs through agreement with the person before they come to the earth plane and generally when the original caretaker as completed there time here. Most walk in are advanced souls that do not need to go through the birthing process but do need a body to survive on the earth plane many are advanced spiritual beings hope this helps
