I have noticed that time is not slowing up nor slowing down. Is this a symptom of ascension? Why can't I let go of my past?

I do a lot of writing about letting go of the past. Its a hard thing to do if you don't have a working way of doing it. The way that I learned it was through the book " A course in Miracles " by JC. I am now starting my 9th yr. CK it out on the net. To make a simple statement; when issues of the past come up in your thoughts, you know, the ones that hurt, that carry pain or sorrow, just tell yourself that you FORGIVE them or yourself or both, even if you still have doubts. The ACIM will show how to make contact with your guide which is your HOLY SPIRIT and he will help you .Adonai
I've noticed a change, too. Normal every day things seem to take much longer than they used to. It was like time was going real fast before, and now, it's sloooowwww.... I wonder what's up with that.
