Mom, Greg Lumpkin, Stephen Scalese, my inner Light I desperately want the world to change. I can see and feel how others are preoccupied with what amounts to a lot of nonsense... this is not how things should be.

  •   I was lied to by my elders when I was a child.  I was also lied to by reverends, preachers, teachers, leaders, and anyone else who thought of themselves in power over words and language.  That goes for commanders too.  Anyone who will command me to do something is barking at the wrong human.  They may request something of me by asking me, and I just might agree to their task.  But telling me to do something is enforcing their will onto me, which no longer works.  We are all child-like kids when it comes to what we know and how we act.  We are all still learning and adopting new ways of existing, but that takes some time.  I am grateful for Ashtar Command Crew and this site.  I am also grateful for many of the wonderful people I have come across here.  I know that more and more information is coming to each of us, and I am grateful for that as well... Exercising patients has been an ongoing process for me, and I know that I have been getting better at it.  Patients with people however, has been wearing thin for years.  It too is something I am working on, but what makes it harder for me is when a person takes pride in rubbing kind people the wrong way on PURPOSE.  What would you do if you saw some young adults making a beer run from the local convenience store?  I know what I would do, and it's called my Civic Duty.  To do nothing at all is almost as bad as committing the crime itself.  Communication is important, but when you cannot look the other person in the eyes, it makes things much harder.  I'm going to communicate my thoughts to those who seem nice and genuine, and leave those who seem to be in the Dark and ill towards others to ramble on however they please.

  •   I'm having some fun doing it this way...

    You are welcome for the Apache Chief story.  I'm adopting it into my thoughts, and the world has opened up to me in a way that feels good.  I think when the dust settles, we will have mastered unlimited size, both macro and micro.  We've been giving ourselves clues, but haven't really comprehended what it was we were reading - whether in a textbook, billboard, novel, or newspaper, et cetera. I've been looking into the Phrygian Cap (free - gee - an) and I think this is my favorite picture I've come across:

  • BARBARA FRIETCHIE

    By John Greenleaf Whittier

    (1807-1892)

    Up from the meadows rich with corn,

    Clear in the cool September morn,

    The clustered spires of Frederick stand

    Green-walled by the hills of Maryland.

    Round about them the orchards sweep,

    Apple and peach tree fruited deep,

    Fair as the garden of the Lord

    To the eyes of the famished rebel horde,

    On that pleasant morn of the early fall

    When Lee marched over the mountain-wall;

    Over the mountains winding down,

    Horse and foot, into Frederick town.

    Forty flags with their silver stars,

    Forty flags with their crimson bars,

    Flapped in the morning wind: the sun

    Of noon looked down, and saw not one.

    Up rose old Barbara Frietchie then,

    Bowed with her fourscore years and ten;

    Bravest of all in Frederick town,

    She took up the flag the men hauled down;

    In her attic window the staff she set,

    To show that one heart was loyal yet.

    Up the street came the rebel tread,

    Stonewall Jackson riding ahead.

    Under his slouched hat left and right

    He glanced; the old flag met his sight.

    "Halt!" -- the dust-brown ranks stood fast.

    "Fire!" -- out blazed the rifle-blast.

    It shivered the window, pane, and sash;

    It rent the banner with seam and gash.

    Quick, as it fell, from the broken staff

    Dame Barbara snatched the silken scarf.

    She leaned far out on the window-sill,

    And shook it forth with a royal will.

    "Shoot, if you must, this old gray head,

    But spare your country's flag," she said.

    A shade of sadness, a blush of shame,

    Over the face of the leader came;

    The nobler nature within him stirred

    To life at that woman's deed and word;

    "Who touches a hair of yon gray head

    Dies like a dog!  March on!" he said.

    All day long through Frederick street

    Sounded the tread of marching feet:

    All day long that free flag tost

    Over the heads of the rebel host.

    Ever its torn golds rose and fell

    On the loyal winds that loved it well;

    And through the hill-gaps sunset light

    Shone over it with a warm good-night.

    Barbara Frietchie's work is o'er,

    And the Rebel rides on his raids no more.

    Honor to her! and let a tear

    Fall, for her sake, on Stonewall's bier.

    Over Barbara Frietchie's grave,

    Flag of Freedom and Union, wave!

    Peace and order and beauty draw

    Round thy symbol of light and law;

    And ever the stars above look down

    On thy stars below in Frederick town!
