This is my first day looking around. Haven't got to far. WOW! It is so exciting to be surrounded by like minds. I have been on the verge of spontaneous combustion, desperately searching for an outlet. Tesla has been my muse for about 5 years now. I can not count the number of times I find a connection with him. So many now that I no longer fight it. I am happy to follow my path. I am currently restoring an antique industrial box fan from my papaws garage. I needed to have the rust blasted off before I could paint. I had to disassemble the fan and remove the motor. All this time I thought the metal box was why the fan is so heavy. No that's not why, you know that though. It is the motor. The 1927 made in St. Louis, MO, AC motor. I had to scratch the paint off the label to read. I was so happy. I always wondered how this fan (84 years) still worked so well, now I know. I am dying to open the motor. I want to see the coils but I am nervous I will mess it up. I need to know more before I start poking around. Thank you for making me feel a little more connected to this world. Ginny
