Generally it is like this:

Only those who are connected by love in what way ever can also hurt each other.

Persons who have no relation howsoever are not able to really hurt each other.

Hurting is generally a function of loving.

By loving we become vulne

On the need of hurting someone

We know the real backround of love.

We know of the illusional structure of duality and polarity.

And we know that truly all is one having unfold in the manyfold.

Living in duality does not mean overcoming it by declaring it unnecessary. The opposite is
