  Well I think that unconditional love...is the type of love God has for us. And I've experienced that already in my life, when I was in a very dark time, and I felt totally abandoned and desperate...on my bed crying, asking why my life had to be so hard....feeling like a complete zero, like a nothing, a nobody.....and then....I felt the presence of God...and I felt the type of love God has for me and for all of us, and it's truly an amazing thing.

  Not only that but I went into a state where I viewed life the way God views it. Which is through the eyes of pure love...unconditional....where we are all children of God....just trying to grow up and get back to God. We are innocent, we are pure...just somewhere down the line, we get lost in this...this world....in separation. But God is always with us....if we only realized it. The type of love God has for us is so real, so pure, so unconditional....just so loving...that nothing on Earth can compare....I mean, it's hard to put into words. But it was a very profound experience, and I haven't experienced anything quite like it since.

  Of course there are times where I fall short of being in that state lol I get caught up with ego things and with worldly things. But I always can recognize it before it gets out of hand, and keep in mind that place... of love...and of innocence and purity, which we all are....even the dark ones. We're all just trying to get back home. And no matter what happens in life....it's okay...because God loves us....and nothing can ever take that away, nothing can ever keep us from God.

    Think about this deeply why would a purely unconditional God put us in this world of suffering and misery?
    Doesnt make sense if God loves us why would he place us here.
    The only way to reckon this is to realize that you are the very cause of your own suffering and also your happiness.
    Its entirely up to you.There is a choice to be made.

      Well from the logical mind, sure lol Logically...if God loves us, why would he put us in a world where we have to suffer...it doesn't make sense. It's not logical lol And I understand that, although there's a higher level of logic that does explain it, but more than that.....we all know...in our hearts....that God loves us...I mean I'm sure of that. I'm sure, deep down...everybody knows.

      We just don't trust that feeling, because our minds try to rationalize and logicalize and sensicalize...and it makes no rational, logical, sensical sense....to think that a loving God....would have us suffer. But like you said...we create our own suffering...it's not God doing that. God loves you! And suffering is part of the game, it's part of...polarity. And we are here to experience all that life has to offer, good and bad.

      I just know the type of love God has for us, I've experienced it. I'm not just parroting what I read..or what someone else said...or some mental ideal in my head....lol This is not just my thinking...or an inkling....I mean this is real. This is true. Once you experience it, you can't go back...you can't just say it's not true lol I'm just relaying to you...my experience....and I'm telling you, it's true!

  A state of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE is WHEN YOU BECOME AS HUMBLE AS A BLADE OF GRASS and LOVE NATURE AND LOVE ALL LIVING ENTITIES....you show COMPASSION AND LOVE TO ALL THAT EXISTS

  We are starting to get somewhere when we realize that unconditional love is not an impersonal force.It is love

  of a divine quality, where the lover and beloved become purchased by one another.It is not based on a self gratifacatory

  response ,but is unwavering and undying.You put the beloved first before your own needs and continue loving in the face of obstacles.The adversities are not the impediments to love, but are the stimulation for a purer unalloyed experience.In alchemy this is called the truing of the metals. The goal of the alchemist is to in a symbolic way take a base metal---ordinary lead for example---and through chemical procedures symbolizing getting to the truth contained in all things---find that pure golden aspect contained within.

  Often pure unalloyed love is expressed through a type of prayer which reflects a mood.

  500 years ago in Bengal in India such an golden avatar lead the way .

  He left 8 verses as a prayer to show the mood of unconditional love  as devotion to His Lord Krishna---

  His prayer was a prayer to the Holy Names of God which he declared need to be sung in a cetain mood.

  The holy Names of God are the sound incarnation, for God being everywhere certainly responds to His names being sung.

  In the external third dimensional material plane when you say a persons name they must be close by to hear it,

  but on the transcendant platform when you say the Holy Name of God, God pays attention.

   

  Glory to the Sri-Krsna-Sankirtana, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years and extinguishes the fire of conditional life, of repeated birth and death. This sankirtana movement is the prime benediction for humanity at large because it spreads the rays of the benediction moon. It is the life of all transcendental knowledge. It increases the ocean of transcendental bliss, and it enables us to fully taste the nectar for which we are always anxious.
  
  O my Lord, Your holy name alone can render all benediction to living beings, and thus You have hundreds and millions of names, like Krsna and Govinda. In these transcendental names You have invested all Your transcendental energies. There are not even hard and fast rules for chanting these names. O my Lord, out of kindness You enable us to easily approach You by Your holy names, but I am so unfortunate that I have no attraction for them.
  
  
  One should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking oneself lower than the straw in the street; one should be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige, and should be ready to offer all respect to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly.
  
  
  O almighty Lord, I have no desire to accumulate wealth, nor do I desire beautiful women nor do I want any number of followers. I only want Your causeless devotional service, birth after birth.
  
  
  O son of Maharaja Nanda (Krsna), I am Your eternal servitor, yet somehow or other I have fallen into the ocean of birth and death. Please pick me up from this ocean of death and place me as one of the atoms at Your lotus feet.
  
  
  O my Lord, when will my eyes be decorated with tears of love flowing constantly when I chant Your holy name? When will my voice choke up, and when will the hairs of my body stand on end at the recitation of Your name?
  
  
  O Govinda! Feeling Your separations I am considering a moment to be like twelve years or more. Tears are flowing from my eyes like torrents of rain, and I am feeling all vacant in the world in Your absence.
  
  
  I know no one but Krsna as my Lord, and He shall remain so even if He handles me roughly by His embrace or makes me brokenhearted by not being present before me. He is completely free to do anything and everything, for He is always my worshipful Lord, unconditionally.

  This is the level of unconditional love that is called for and when God's Holy Names are sung in such a state of mind there is a feeling that brings you to a new realm of consciousness.
  
  In the material dimension it is very difficult to find this level of devotion, because even if discovered through a relationship,
  they are temporary at best. The lover dies and leaves the beloved behind. It has been idealized in stories of eternal love like Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare, but there is complications caused by the temporary physical situation. Its always changing so where do we find a permanent spiritual relationship? One must seek for a higher love.
  Music is one way to express this thus the incredible amount of devotional love songs in all languages.

    You can express unconditional love by an attitude. Its true is not what you say or do its what you are, but what you are is an attitude. Its how you are that expresses it , and that is what is being discussed here. Prayer is one way to enter into a mood or an attitude. Music is another way in the tone that it is sung--- its a type of prayer. Sure on a network site such as this how you react to others expresses your attitude. And the words you use are tools of expression -- but they are not everything. There is a tone -- everyone has one-- a unique tone which makes them what they are. And this tone goes beyond the words but the words harmonize the tone.
