Bamas Camp may try an October surprise similar to the ones below-don't be taken by the lies/hype.

*1972-Nixon said on the Friday before the 1/6/72 election that he has worked up a peace agreement with the North Vietnamese-he clobbered McGovern-the war lasted 6 more months and 8,000 more US soldiers lives were lost and the Vietnamese took the south.

*Dan Quayle, stumping for Bush Sr., went on every news channel, etc. just before election exposing Clinton's record on raising taxes in Arkansas -Clinton won on a squeaker because Bush Sr. said 'read my lips, no new taxes' and later he raised taxes.

*2000-Gore camp revealed Bush Jr., who had a 4 point lead just before the election, that Bush Jr. got arrested for DWI back in the 80's and didn't disclose it-Gore won the popular vote but the Florida recount gave Bush Jr. the electoral college

*2004-NY Times broke a story 8 days before election that US Forces captured one of Saddam's weapons dumps and then left it unguarded allowing Saddam's henchman to take them and kill US soldiers-Bush dropped in the polls and Kerry pulled ahead until the Intel people showed a sat. photo of the dump unguarded because it was empty.
