Waking Up Incorrectly (A Poem)

Is there any justice when the world goes flat?I'm a corrupted gas bagIs there justice for that?A place for those built to screw up and aroundA place for me to sleepWithout the worry of waking up incorrectly.A nice bed with no one in it and nothing next to it.No possessions.There's a song I keep trying to manufactureOut of my ass probably, but it's there.My problem is my superficiality is genuine.And I have every reason for it but I'll never tell youYou'll never get me to hand it over or give it upYou wouldn't last in that long placeTimelines splitting left and rightDeath/ No death.Do you hear me?Oh but I wish I could give it to you:That crowded and lustful parallelI made half of it wishing for you anywayBut still it doesn't match youAnd no longer does it look like myselfSo perhaps I only half made youAnd disregarded myself entirely.
