Vatican Assassins

I really enjoyed it in spite of it's disturbing revelations, the author's sometimes awkward writing style and on occasion, his questionable conclusions. For anyone with an interest in world affairs - past, present & future - or the political ambitions of the Vatican (which Phelps argues is really one in the same) this is a valuable perspective to gather.Phelps does a very good job illustrating the ubiquitous nature of Jesuit insidiousness throughout modern political, economic & cultural history. In highlighting the diabolical essence of the order, he sheds light on the unequivocal and nearly universal distain for the Jesuits by heads of state since their inception in the late 1500s. These include Napoleon Bonaparte (who, in his memoirs, called them a military order, not a religious one), Oliver Cromwell, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.Although the rational for many the arguments is well documented, I don't know if the veracity of all of the conclusions can be tested. The book contains endless quotes and citations, yet not everything comes together as tightly as I would have liked (at least after one read). That said, I still think Phelps is on target and proves more than enough of his points to be taken seriously. The book is well organized however it covers so much territory it's easy to become overwhelmed. This is a function of the subject more than anything else. While it can be considered both an introductory text and more of an advanced study, the average reader will likely need to do additional reading and investigation outside of what Phelps gives (thus the reason for the several full length books included on the CD-ROM that comes with VA).According to Phelps (and I think he makes his case) ignoring the Jesuits & the Vatican as a political, financial, cultural and spiritual force, is perilous to a free society and free people everywhere. Its a very timely read and is one of those books you'll want to read many times if you take the topic of world affairs (including economic/cultural globalization and the 'War on Terrorism') seriously at all. Definitely buy it.

  • look at history...nothing new there...religion has always dominated politics...The pope,Cardinals,God are above the Kings and presidents...that has been the way of things sind the beginning of time, and will go on 'till the end of times,I have had as mutch respect and belief for religion as for politics....NONE.But i geuss some people need to read it over and over or see it everyday on life tv to understand it....or not understand it.
    • hi Barron, I have not read the book, but just reading "Shining the Light" by Robert Shapiro and somewhere else just lately where it has been said that in the religions in those days when they will loose the power over the minds/lives of its followers, will get nasty and they will kill. They have been in the power and control game for eons, I guess my hair will curl when I think about what that power consists of...... Still they will loose... these are the days I believe and hope when things will come to a head.... and then things will change...

I speak with people every day and it is clear to me that we the people are tired of this s**t and everyday mediocracy of unfulfilled lives...I have been observing that people are tired, many are expecting some change but don't know what change..nobody I speak with trusts the government and most believe they are plotting something....many see themselves as slaves...etc....not too much fear, more a resignedness...people want to be free and self determining....people are disgusted with how the world is run and what is done in their name.....

I think that desire in the human consciousness will continue to force the change, we are creating it... I think I can see it now easier and conversations with some work colleagues have gone suddenly to a more trusting level I guess and a few of us will talk more openly about how we view life and the religions we all grew up in. My muslim colleague the other day suddenly burst into this explanation about how he believes that all religions are about control and power also Islam and how much money they make out of the holy places like Mecca....

We came here for this, we will make it through.......
Still one wonders what's cooking and will be served up next...We create our lives and what happens we have drawn to us through what we think and speak...hmmm.....taking control of our minds seems definitely worth the effort....the Law of Attraction always in operation!....:)!

Without animal proteins, humans cannot build tissues, brains, nor make hormones...
Ponder that.
