The base was leased to the USA and that expired in 1993......However, the British military continue to ramp-up activities in the area and will be monitored, as per usual...
These forces have been active at the base, renamed as Woodbridge Airfield and Rock Barracks.....The Army Aircorp, Royal Engineers and the 23 Engineer Regiment (Air Assault.)
Was is it with the Rendlesham Forest? Is it some sort of energy field, or is our military industrial simplex doing something they shouldn't be doing in that part of the world??
This location has traditionally been used to test exotic military tech....Beam weapons, weather control and lethal gases...Indeed, mustard gas was first deployed in tests, back in the time of WW1..
So the military testing predates US military presence and continues, after that presence ended in 1993...
