Melts cold days,
Adding warmth like gently burning logs
In the fireplace of existence.

Indelible upon this life
As cherished memories and beginnings
That take me higher.
You're the butterfly queen,
And when around
My senses fill with the saturated finesse
Of a thousand velvet wings
Landing and departing all over
With exquisite abandon.
You blaze brighter than the burning Sun
Though you know it not,
I feel it in the recesses of my everything
Where even those parts that shun the light
Are forced to smile brilliantly.
You forged in gold
The foundation of this beating heart
