These concepts were around long before the internet. It has been accepted in the spiritual sciences that we emanate our own star from within, and furthermore we are born of the stars in astrology. Astrology is primarily focused on stars, not planets. Planets just help further the science,. It isn't that it is spiraling out of a few people, this information has just become esoteric. Some cultures in the past have been centered around like information.
All the concepts you listed are really not internet born. I can understand the skepticism though. Most are vague about these studies, and it is hard to put faith into vagueness at times.
