A Russian billionaire has revealed controversial plans to upload his own brain and become immortal by 2045.
32 year-old Dmitry Itskov believes technology will allow him to live forever in a hologram body.

His ’2045 initiative’ is described as the next step in evolution, and over 20,000 people have signed up on Facebook to follow its progress, with global conferences planned to explore the technology needed.
‘We are in the process of creating focus groups of experts,’ said Itskov.
‘Along with these teams, we will prepare goal statements and research programs schedules.’
The foundation has already planned out its timeline for getting to a fully holographic human, and claims it will be ready to upload a mind into a computer by 2015, a timeline even Itskov says is ‘optimistic’.

DO NOT TAKE VIAGRA IF YOU ARE ON BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATIONS. I have had to render care for elderly men with heart problems from that cocktail, and they didn't like the patient care regimen due to the constant need for urinating all the time from the medications (i.e. Lasix, Aldactone).
He will become a Robotic Icon but without a soul,and thats what his money would have brought for him.
we are already immortal, our soul will still there after our death. If we transfer our body in a robot we are going to live in a robotic world . for me it's taking a risk that robot take over us like in the matrix (film).

I hope the project fails spectacularly and that in that failing all involved learn something spiritual.
You know, I think they might find a way to upload memory or even download it into the brain, but they'll find that once uploaded into a computer it's just dead data, no consciousness.
