Researching Scientology and found some crazy stuff!

I don't know how, but a church of scientology popped up and after the South Park aired that totally raped the poor thing I was a little pretentious toward it. After all of the different things I've learned in recent years I since decided that I would research it with a more open mind, but always forgot when I had the chance to. So this pop up is a real deal site with a really compelling video about using science, eastern philosophy, honesty, respect, free will and god. I got hooked and the people that attest to it have the impulse to help which I value in what makes a good friend. It was all pretty trippy, but something doesn't sit right you know? One idea I came up with is with it getting so much exploitation with the commercials, the celebrities, and it's just too.. available. I'm thinking maybe it was set up or has since been corrupted to be a foundation for this new "disclosure." If they got these couple million people believing there are aliens of an unknown type then the government tries to teach us the dark extraterrestrials are good. There's a religious occult with it's foot in the door trying to flood what is yet another mass manipulation rooted by the bankers and dark ET's.That was just my take on things I've learned thust far, but check out this crazy shit I found while checking out my new theory. There's even some story of a man astro-projecting and being detected by military men with alien technology. I think, but not sure an electric device that can hinder a spirit too? There is going to be an excellent article on Scientology posted soon on www.projectcamelot.org by someone that was high up in the Church for many years, really knows what goes on and is no longer a part of it - it will be very revealing.

Thank you so much for the link Kalindi it is super informative and I have to say a good read too. I'm only a quarter way through it. It's like a small book, but it's really cool and I recommend it to the other users!

Hubbard was originally known as a science fiction writer, so there is considerable references in his teachings to ET's.
Also he mixed many belief systems including esoteric and eastern philosophies. His greatest flaw was a fixation on wealth and acquisition, so openly promoted recruiting Hollywood actors for his subjects. Remember the 3rd dimension is all about illusion. Consequently film people were deliberately targeted as fodder for his own private game play.

The one ingredient missing in every piece of Hubbard's writings is love and joy. So please use discernment here please.

Don't be fooled by Scientology snake oil. They are a cult that employs mind control in the same fashion as the Mormons or JW's or Heaven's Gate.

  Scientology does / did indeed have some great "technology/wisdom! But after Hubbard's death the church was bought out/taken over the then the price of their courses went thru the roof and it is all about making money now and yes, many branches could be compared to a cult as when you want out they pester the crap out of you to stay (so says someone i know well.) My parents were both members about 30 years ago and the book Dianetics if very good. I believe some of the material has been changed and certainly just about anyone bright enough to see what happened to the church/ philosophy 25 - 30 years ago, got out and left and formed their own so-called "splinter groups." My opinion, worth reading Dianetics etc but would stay well clear of the church itself today. It is not the same beast that it once was.
