Prayers and light enegies to all Human and Animal on Philipines..
Hi Lea. There was actually a weather forecast days in advance. We know the path of the typhoon and the area hit by the typhoon was forecasted to be hit by the typhoon. It is just that no one expected the amount of water that will flow out of the mountains. Those hardest hit areas are basically the catch basins of the water that flowed from the mountains. Most of those who died lived near the river banks and when the river overflowed, they are the first one affected by the overflowing water. To make the matter worse, the flash flood happened when everyone was sleeping.

That typhoon is weird in a sense because that part of the Philippines (Mindanao, the southern part) rarely gets a typhoon signal number 1 but this last typhoon was signal number 2. Those people living in that area never experienced a signal number 2 typhoon before. The last time they had a signal number 1 typhoon was years ago that my friend who lives in that area doesn't remember anymore when it happened.
