as you may be aware Imran Khan.... a former pakistan cricket legend ....has worked to develop a political party in pakistan that may have the legs to win.
he is a fine man with correct values
he will acheive great things in a place that sorely needs some change towards fairness
he is a very strong man. a great man
but his life is at risk
assasination is a real risk

oh yes he has a peace rally on october 7 this year, that is good :)
he's working pretty hard
and he's anti the "american war"...
no grovelling politician here...
pity our julia...and the aussie PM's that went before her dont have the guts to stand up against the USA oligarchy...
loved nz stand some years ago where they exited the anzus treaty because they didnt want nuclear armed US vessels to enter their territory( US stance was they refused to confirm or deny the presence of onboard nukes)
