I get cold symptoms because of my allergies and when theres a drastic change in weather it gets worse. Heres some things I do to help with my cold symptoms and just know that I am not a licensed healthcare worker so if you are really sick go see a doctor. I am a medical student and I like to explore alternative medicines. I do not recommend this for children, if a child is sick bring them to the doctor.
Herbal Tea
Theres a tea I get from Mrs Mangos called Hibiscus Flower Tea. Im sure you could find a similar tea like this somewhere else though, its a mix of wild hibiscus flowers, rose hips, orange peel, lemon balm, and mint. This tea is full of vitamin C and helps wake you up when your feeling drowsy and strengthens the immune system.

Mrs Mangos has their own honey bee hives and sell this very dark brown honey hives in palmetto wild honey jars. This brown honey comb comes from the center of the hive where it filters the hive and has a very high concentration of anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties. I have eaten this and it helps with sore throat and tonsils.
