  • TYLER: your analogy is way, way off because this is not a child.  This was a ranking enlisted military man who was promoted within the ranks and was more than aware of the type of decision he was making.  There are veterans who were (and still are) opposed to the current wars the U.S. is in and they didn't walk off like this guy did, or allow others to get killed trying to find him.

NOTE: how did his hometown feel about him?  Town officials cancelled all celebrations when they received angry responses about the fact that he deserted and allowed others to get killed looking for him.

Celebration in Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s hometown canceled after hate mail, deserter claims

The scheduled June 28 rally honoring the favorite son of Hailey, Idaho, was spiked after officials received 100 hate-spewing emails and phone calls each day this week. City administrator Heather Dawson said the municipality couldn't handle the crowd.

  • 14 american soldiers were killed looking for this deserter-he never should have joined the military-he said he wanted to help afghans-he should have joined the red cross-still this is about bama releasing the murderers so they can begin terrorist attacks and then the us and our allies can spend more money tracking them and killing them

  • yes they all have the same rotten look in their eyes-windows of the soul

    • Lack of empathy crosses all national borders.
