Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump battled on Twitter Thursday after the presumptive Republican nominee criticized President Barack Obama for endorsing his former secretary of state, a preview of the sharp general election fight to come.
The sparring kicked off Thursday afternoon, coming shortly after Trump's tweet attacking Obama's endorsement.
"Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary. He wants four more years of Obama—but nobody else does," Trump tweeted.

"Delete your account," the presumptive Democratic nominee fired back. The message was not signed "-H," which is how Clinton usually signs tweets she authored, suggesting this specific tweet was written by Clinton's staff.
Trump returned fire later Thursday, citing Clinton's controversial use of a private email serve while serving as secretary of state, in his attack.
"How long did it take your staff of 823 people to think that up--and where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted," he tweeted.

Also note that another "Twitter battle" is emerging between Trump and Elizabeth Warren, the Democrat senator from Taxachusetts who falsely claimed she was a native American (and got into Harvard as a result). The 2016 U.S. presidential election could be a wild one, regardless of who wins!
Later Friday, Warren hit back on Twitter, calling Trump's response "lame."
I called out @realDonaldTrump on Tuesday. 45 million saw it. He's so confident about his "counter punch" he waited until Friday night. Lame.

I saw a more abbreviated account of this. Hillary told Trump that he should delete his account, and he said you do deletes quite well (or something like that).
