Mark, I am sorry that you are so blue...time to move on and find that special someone who will make you happy. We all have had our hearts injured in our lives, but don't let that stop you from moving forward and finding someone who can make you happy. As long as your dwelling on your hurt about someone who is no longer in your life, you are blocking your own happiness, and I hate to see you do this, because you deserve to be happy. Sometimes in life we can not control the actions and emotions of others, but we can control our own emotions and actions. Things are sometimes not meant to be and we have to move past disappointments and it is hard but well worth the effort.

Thanks everyone for the Valentines Day wishes...May love be with you all every day of the year. Love of self and love of fellow mankind, all the kinds of love...It all makes living worthwhile.
I'm happy I'm not involved with my ex, even though I have no one at the time.
I hear you on that....I was married for 34 years and raised many foster children and two of my own, and he cheated on me for 36 years with every one of my so called friends until there were none left...it hurt a lot but I hung in there because he was a great dad to all of the kids....when they were all grown up and left home, I thought of leaving and then they all kept coming back home again, lol...so one day I went to work and just never went back...Best thing I had ever done for myself in my life. Now he and I are friends, and that is the best...that and he can never hurt me again...Sometimes having no one is better than having one that hurts you.....I am at peace with myself at last, have regained my self esteem and have no desire for marriage to anyone again. I have a roommate to help with expenses and keep me company, and my dog, and that is good enough for me..
