One objection raised against the idea that Jesus survived the 'crucifixion' is: where then did Jesus go after the 40 days of appearing to his disciples and convincing them that he 'resurrected'. How comes Jesus's history seem to have come to an end, so we don't hear from him any more? The answer is that there are some evidence that Jesus went all the way to India, far away from both the Jews and the Romans, who would begin hunting him upon realization that 'he was still alife'.
Indeed this explanation makes the most sense! I have heard several claims that 'someone rose from death'. In all the cases, it often turns out that the person thought to have died actually did not die! The 'hallucination' by over 100 pple makes no sense. Same applies to the 'blatant propaganda' theory. The only two sensible explanations of the beleif that Jesus resurrected are: Jesus actually resurrected and appeared to his disciples, or that Jesus did not realy die on the cross. He only 'faked' death to avoid a further suffering. When combined with the fact that Pilate, the one overseeing is death, together with the centurion did not want Jesus to die, they could have simply colluded with jesus to fake the 'death'!
