I,ve always struggled with finding that real and special partner who whould unconditionally be into me and vice versa. I am 45 and never had that special relantionship but most recently I had really found that soul mate and am crazy about her yet as life has it she is not even remotely interested in me.

Anyway I've been wondering, why do people keep on searching for love?(relationship with other people) Is it because they're not getting any from their own family (mom, dad, siblings, relatives)? Lacking love and attention since birth that they resort to wanting someone else to acknowledge and pamper them? (in relationship)
I've been thinking it's because it's like that. Because most people that I know that have a nice loving family and bonding is not desperately sad, lonely and looking for relationships. While those people who are having a hard time in life (with their own family) seeks desperately for someone else to console them. My heart goes for them though, I hope they finally feel being loved too ♥

I too have a companion that I hang out with and we don't love one another and we are ok with that. Glad to know there are more people like that. Thanks for sharing your story with me.
