The highly evolved couldn't resist projecting thier consciousness into the animals and abominations were conceived.

HOW THE MUTANTS OCCURRED
There is a subject I wish to discuss with you that
perhaps is not in quite good taste but it is necessary for
you to be exposed to this information and to
understand. At some point, someone may raise this
question for you and you might as well be prepared
with an answer for them. What I am about to relate to
you was an exception rather than the rule but it did
occur.
There were occasionally those, among the Elders in
Atlantis, who established such high and fine control
over their energies that they were able to project their
being—from an energy standpoint—into other forms of
life to experience them. There were times when, as a
result of this type of experiment, animals—both of land
and sea—in the normal course of reproduction, gave life
to mutants. This occurred because occasionally the
energies and vibrations of the Elders remained with the
animal.
Some of the creatures resulting from these
experiments were hideous. They could not be described
as part man-part beast for, quite often, characteristics
were not clearly defined. The result was simply an
aberration of a species that was totally unrecognizable.
These activities were severely admonished and created
severe problems for some of the Elders in Atlantis. It
was a situation they did not know how to deal with. In
time, the practice became forbidden but for many,
many centuries grotesque mutants roamed this planet.
In ancient mythology, a few lines relate to some of
these creatures. In these cases, the laws of heredity
and progression and genetic construction were violated
and, as centuries past, grotesque creatures resulted.
There are stories that some of these creatures still exist
at this time. Perhaps this is so. Perhaps not.
These actions were partially responsible for the
enforcement of the Universal Law “THOU SHALT NOT
IMPOSE THYSELF ON ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL NOR
SHALT THOU INFLICT THY VIBRATIONS UPON THOSE
OF ANOTHER.” What occurred at that time is possible to
occur at this time. Of course, this is not permissible. If
it were to occur, the individual initiating this type of
action would draw a most severe karma to himself. I
must add, the result of any action of this nature would
be spiritually dissolved, as it would not be in Divine
Order.
