Doesn't look like an "accident" to me...

Ok, I may sound like a conspiracy theorist, but the SD, AZ, and Baja (Mexico) Blackout doesn't feel like a "human mistake", like the chairman from the electric company said.

We had several blackouts for the past few weeks in my city, we thought it was a government implementation to save energy, but since this city is proudly the 3rd most poluted of Mexico, I doubt our authorities turned into benevolent ambientalists overnight.

Strange stuff man!

  • Hi Everyone, just looking at Sky News here in OZ and report saying "there appears to be two failures here - one is human failure and the other is a system failure" said Damon Gross of APS.  Do they seriously expect peolple to believe that!!!  Or maybe the electrician had had a hard night and dozed off and accidentally fell on the Big Red Button! Ha  Do feel for people especially can empathise with those not having use of Air Con.,  we roast here in WA and is nightmarish when we lose power. (So pleased to know that starseed planets have temperate climates!!!!).  Sorry to see also that sewage pipes have failed and contaminating water into San Diego bay and a natural lagoon in Torrey Pines State Park - more harm to the eco system and the poor animals suffer again.  Hope your power is restored soon. x
  • Yup stuff have been failing too much already, and I agree that one Homer Simpson pushed the wrong button sounds nuts. And about the 3 days of darkness, it crossed my mind too, but did anyone said they would be in a row? Cuz yesterday was too much trouble for it not to count!
  • It crossed my mind as I watched the morning news that it might be a dry run of the 3 days of darkness as there appeared to be absolutely no explanation.  I think the real three days of darkness will include the absence of the sun completely, but who am I to say?  I am just a star seed hanging out and waiting like so many!
    • Yup me too, just waiting for the show to begin and hoping to have a front row seat, and have my seat buckle buckled cause it may be a rocky ride..It could be a part of the taking down of the grid too, the loss of power like that.  I think you may be right about the days of darkness is about the sun though...I just thought it seemed pretty shifty with them all losing power like that...I have a dear friend in San Diego and I hope he is not sweltering and suffering from the power loss...I live in Florida and when we lose our power which happens a lot, it gets unbearable within an hour in my house, and I am just thankful I have a pool to dive in  and stay in until the power comes back.....
  • I have to agree with you on this....hmmmmmm, something is up.....boning up for the three days of darkness???? I wonder....it seems so significant to me.....the excuses so far for why it happened seem pretty lame.
