  i was checking out online and you can make your own binural beats.......i like to listen to guided meditations sometimes (like kelly howell)..........but then I was thinking why not make my own.......If something helps and or aids you in clearing the mind and helping you in meditation then do it and you have one more tool in your tool box.....

       Yeah I totally agree.

    I've made a meditation mix from you tube videos, using the soundtracks from

    Amer Indian flute music

    Tibetan chants & flute music

    Choral music

    crystal gongs

    There IS a woman who teaches how to make what you mention, in a youtube tutorial .... but I've no idea who , anymore.

    I'm not crazy about using electronic brain entrainment ..(the concept).. but I guess that's what drumming or chanting really does ..... but more organically

    I oughta at least try it, but I don't want to DEPEND on electronic stimulation

      I used to compose space music on electronic keyboards, but now really prefer organic sounds for meditation

  To put it another way, yes - I think it does aid in meditation! :-)  Do a search on YouTube for Isochronic tone stimulation: Pineal Gland , see what feels right to you, there are many out there!
