I'm pleased to share a piece of my mind with a view to you finding a greater peace in yours.
Let your worries wash away. Every thought you have has an infectious effect. When you let your worries take the lead they multiply and manifest. Perhaps instead of thinking your fears into reality you could determinedly muse upon more beautiful opportunities. Water the flowers instead of the weeds!
Avoid joining into others upsets. When others air their upsets resist the futile inclination to resolve their problems. This activity might appear as empathetic but in fact it makes things worse. In addition to judging their personal challenges and stealing their potential learning it also means that rather than just one person in pain the problem is doubled since now there are two.
There's an enormously positive power to simply listening to the issues others have. You can trust them to win in their own time and way! Listening with calm respectful patience effectively enables that individual to discharge their emotional pain and in turn become more resourced to think clearly again.
Keep company that comforts you. You are what you surround yourself with so its better to spend a life time alone than a moment in the company of fools are two amorphisms that ring true. You get to choose the company you keep and with several billion people on the planet you're spoilt for choice.
In addition to the company of humans I suggest there's a tremendous opportunity to create your peace of mind by keeping non human company. The earth is replete with the wondrous spirits of nature. Immersing your self in the bush and the sea can add enormously to your minds peaceful ease.
Other company worth keeping is animals. Dogs are know as man's best friend but they aren't personally concerned about your gender and will accordingly add peace of mind to any one who invites them to. Indeed any animal is fine company so cats, rats and even wombat's et al can do as good a job.
Peace of mind is a worthy pursuit. Indeed it's such an important intention as to subsume any every other endeavour you might otherwise engage. If it doesn't add to your peace of mind, do something else!
