Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.

~yes! yes! yes!~ thank you little feather for this reminder! it's only that trickster, "the ego" , run amok & off the leash again, that at times clouds us.. we all have the capacity to be our best selves, for ourselves first, then the rest comes more organically.. so many roads.. so many bumps in them, but oh such sights! orchards and flowers, butterflies and songbirds.. ~crazy beautiful journey this life!~ in gratitude~

Great advice, thanks little feather : ) I heard the "don't compare yourself to others" one a little while ago, and I realised that is so true that we cause ourselves so much unnecessary angst by comparing ourselves with other people. I think this principle can be extended to comparing other people, too. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses, and every person has equal value, so why analyse who is better or worse at this or that etc? Better to just accept ourselves and each other as we are.
