yawning is an evolutionary activity

What follows is quite possibly the most important information you will ever receive. As our species acts upon the counsel contained all problems great and small will more often and easily find an elegant solution.

This momentous information that can uplift our world is
encapsulated in the following three words. Yawn a lot.

Yawning has been misconstrued as a rude, socially inappropriate behaviour that communicates disinterest in the company or subject
at hand. We are trained to avoid yawning, or if a yawn slips out we are
required to cover it with a hand and follow with an apology.

Yet yawning isn’t a deliberate expression of disinterest. Rather
than being rude, it is a discharge of emotional exhaustion. Unfortunately this counterproductive cover-up of yawning only serves to bank up the exhaustion that would otherwise be released.

Yawning is much more than getting in more oxygen, though it
does that as well. Yawning is the most delightful emotional discharge. It’s easily recognised that the disabling effects of sadness are released by crying.Similarly, yawning releases the inner turmoil of emotional exhaustion.

Yawning is pleasant and easy. Just slow down and think about
some one else yawning, then allow it to happen for you. I suggest you
experience for yourself the positive lightening effects by allowing your self to yawn extensively. I reckon if you start you wont want to
stop.

Be aware that some company will not approve, and close
company will complain. Like all emotional discharge, yawning is contagious. If you yawn others will follow.

Also as you yawn and release exhaustions heavy coating don’t
be surprised to find other strong emotions such as sadness or anxiety just waiting in line to get out. Exhaustion is like the red top on the coke bottle. As the pressure is released all sorts of other stuff can fizz out.

Reclaim your right to let your exhaustion out, join a
yawning revolution. Imagine a clear thinking compassionate world where tired and cranky no longer existed then make it happen for yourself.

  • when people talk at me ( particularly about dull things) .. when theyre feeling tension....and when theyre lying....i always discharge exhaustion/ feel like or actually yawn.

ive found i can expllain it to family and they acept it/do it too

however in professional situations where they dont understand you can get into trouble.....im imagining explaining it to boss's i had in the past in the midst of a meeting....no wonder im unemployable  lol... :)

    meetings are for meditation :)

  • I like this as now when Im in my boring meetings and I yawn I can tell my boss Im just releasing pressure!! lols :-)

  • its a pretty nice feeling to yawn alot
