  Good! The bible can be interprated so well as to bring unity to all views. It is completely different when you read it as when you hear a surmon in the church. What constitute a bulk of christianity is a certain interpratation.

  I wouldn´t say that all Christian groups are unconscious. The Essenen seem to have a deeper understanding; they were traditionally the keepers of spiritual esoteric secrets and have the full practices for ascension.  I just checked the Unity Church folks and they seem to be aware as well....of course it depends on the individual.    I´m sure there are many awake and aware Christians..

  here is something about Unity Church concepts...

  God

  God is understood as spiritual energy which is everywhere present and is available to all people. In the Unity view, God is not a being in the sky who is capable of anger. The presence of God only seeks to express the highest good through everyone and everything.^[16] According to Unity founder Charles Fillmore, God is spirit, the loving source of everything. God is one power, all good, wisdom, everywhere present.^[17] God is Divine Energy, continually creating, expressing and sustaining all creation. In God we live and move and have our being.^[18][19][20]

  Jesus

  Unity proclaims the divinity of Jesus, but also proclaims that we are all children of God and share that divine potential. Unity believes that Jesus expressed his divine potential and sought to show others how to do the same. Unity sees Jesus as a master teacher of universal Truth and one who demonstrated the Way.^[21][22] Unity uses the term "Christ" to mean the divinity in all people. Jesus is the great example of the Christ in expression.^[23][24]

  The nature of humanity

  Unity teaches that we are individual, external expressions of God. Our essential nature is divine and therefore we are inherently good. Our purpose is to express our divine potential as demonstrated by Jesus. The more we awaken to our divine nature, the more fully God expresses in and through our lives.^[25][26] Salvation, in the Unity view, is found in conscious understanding of one's innate divinity and then putting this knowledge into practice in everyday life.^[27]

  The Bible

  Unity founders, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, studied the Bible as history and allegory. They interpreted it as a metaphysical representation of each soul's evolutionary journey toward spiritual awakening. Unity understands the Bible as a complex collection of writings compiled over many centuries. The Bible is a valuable spiritual resource, but is understood as a reflection of the comprehension and inspiration of the writers and their times.^[28][29][30]

  Affirmative prayer

  Affirmative prayer is understood, in Unity, as the highest form of creative thought. It includes the release of negative thoughts and holding in mind statements of spiritual truth. Through meditation and prayer, we can experience the presence of God. Prayer and meditation heighten our awareness of truth and thereby transform our lives.

  Its also good to read the ideas of other people about God. It is only that you should be critical. Like in all knowledge, sometimes another person can show you what you were not seeing. I have found the works of Anslem and Leibniz very inspiring.
  
  We can keep seeing ways in which east, midle east, southamerica, modern physics etc are more or less saying the same things. To me, this is the truely exiting part. One may also say that the tarbenacle described in the OT alongside the ark of covenant, stufs, candels in the temple, washing basins etc helped the Israelis meditate like the pics of deities in the east did. However, christians may have lost the true lesson that east still has. But christian can still be ascending but less consciously.

  The Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine are about the qualities of energy and ways energy moves and manifests in the universe.  Everyone embodies BOTH of these, so, of course a man will also be loving, kind and gentle and a woman can also be fierce when necessary.  No one is saying that God is up in the sky having sex, it is not about that.

  Btw, the Eastern Religions refer to God as being formless, they never make pictures of God.  The pictures are Archetypes, some are historical beings and some are Light Beings.  These pictures are for the purpose of meditation and balancing the energies of ones own body and understanding the qualities of energy and the universe. They help one to align with their Higher Self.  The geometric symbols used in the East represent the same thing as the pictures; the more complex mandalas represent the energies of the human body, their location, qualities and how they flow.  They are maps for working with energies and building the Merkaba..

  Whatever concept of God someone has is correct for them at that time... ........     .My concept of God comes from meditation and not from anything I´ve read in books....it works for me.  I might change it tomorrow if I get new understanding or experience...consciousness is always expanding..

  I am not a Christian, nor do I beleive in the bible. But I try to judge it fairly, crediting it where it diserves credit. When it makes a claim that is latter scientificaly proven, I say so.
  
  The prophetic books as in Isaiah can be rich, spiritually uplifting and comforting. To those who beleive, it gives them joy unspeakable. It helps their spiritual growth. The last parts of Isaiah describe God in a suprisingly fantastic way.
