I used to be judgmental of others, and the paths they have chosen, but I now understand we are all on our own journey, to experience our own life as it must be for us to reach a higher realm. Some is clearing past Karma, some is gaining valuable experience, regardless of how much it hurts.
I do know the old saying about that which doesn't kill us makes us stronger being very, very true, and some things, we need to experience to grow.
