  ada could also mean: adenosine deaminase: an enzyme found in mammals that can catalyze the deamination of adenosine into inosine and ammonia; "ADA deficiency can lead to one form of severe combined immunodeficiency disease"; "the gene encoding ADA was one of the earlier human genes to be isolated and cloned for study"

    Hi Katrine, what you found is a poem of John of the Cross... it is not in spanish.. that´s why you couldn´t translate it... I don´t know if it is catalan or latin but this is what it means... "but love arose so high
    I caught the prey at last"

  this is very interesting! The words means several different things, the word Ada can be a name and that means happy - while Calca means transfer
