CHAPTER XXII
THE TRANSFIGURATION OF JESUS
The luminous ascent of the Third Serpent of Light—inward and upward along the brilliant spinal canal through the brilliant Spinal Medullary Channel of the Venustic Body of the corresponding Initiation of Fire...
It is not possible, within the narrow confines of this treatise, to record everything I once learned in each and every one of the thirty-three sacred chambers...
The extraordinary transformation of this radiant Third Serpent unfolded very gradually, in accordance with the merits of a tranquil heart...
When this luminous serpent crossed the threshold of the Third Secret Chamber of the Temple-Heart, I felt, quite naturally, transfigured...
Is this, perhaps, something too unusual? Did the same not happen to Moses on Mount Nebo? Beyond question, I am neither the first to whom this has occurred, nor shall I be the last...
In such moments of profound grace, I was transported into the presence of that illustrious man—a figure of brilliant intellect and noble countenance—whom I had known long ago, when I was but a tender adolescent...
I am referring, quite openly and directly, to the teacher of aspirants to the Rosicrucian path, mentioned in the fifth chapter of this very treatise.
Unfortunately, that distinguished gentleman could not perceive me, even in the midst of this transfiguration...
“The moving and sublime scene of the Transfiguration of Jesus—an event upon which, much like the Ascension, those who call themselves Christians have never sufficiently meditated—is described by Luke (IX, 18–37) in the following terms:”
“And it came to pass that, while Jesus was praying, He asked His disciples: ‘Who do the people say that I am?’” “And they answered him:” “Some say that you are John the Baptist—IO AGNES, RA, or the Lamb of God—; others say that you are Elijah, and many others say that one of the ancient prophets has risen again in you.”
“To which Jesus added:” “And you, who do you say that I am?”; Simon Peter replied: “You are the Christ of God!” He then strictly charged them not to tell anyone about any of this, saying to them:
“It is necessary for the Son of Man to suffer many things, to be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, to be put to death, and to rise again on the third day.” “And he added to all:”
“Whoever wishes to come after me, let him deny himself (dissolve the EGO), take up his Cross day by day (practice Sexual Magic), and follow me (sacrifice himself for humanity).”
“For whoever wishes to save his soul—the selfish person who never sacrifices himself for his fellow men—will lose it; but whoever, for love of me, is willing to lose his soul—the altruist who ascends the Altar of the Supreme Sacrifice for Humanity—will save it.”
“For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, if he harms and loses himself?”
“For whoever is ashamed of me and my words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in all His majesty, and that of the Father and His Holy Angels.”
“Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Kingdom of God for themselves.” “And following this passage—which, taken literally, refers only to Jesus, but which, when understood symbolically or in the ‘Spirit,’ refers in fact to all human beings (as we shall see later on)—the text continues with the scene of the Transfiguration, stating:”
“And it came to pass, about eight days after these words—” and as if the fact, we add, became a practical and tangible corroboration of them – that Jesus took his disciples Peter, James and John, and went up a mountain to pray.”
“And as the Master prayed, and changed his face, and his garments became white and resplendent.”
“And behold, two men were speaking with Jesus. And these were Moses and Elijah, who appeared full of majesty and who spoke to him about his departure, or about Jerusalem. “But Peter and his companions were heavy with sleep and, waking up, they saw the glory of Jesus and the two men who were with him.”
“And when these departed from him, Peter said to Jesus, not knowing what was said: Master, it is good that we are here: Let us make three tents, one for you, one for Moses and another for Elijah.”
“And while Peter was saying this, a great cloud came and enveloped them, causing them great panic.”
“And out of the cloud came a voice saying: “This is my Beloved Son!” Listen to him! “And when the voice ceased, they found only Jesus. And they remained silent and told no one anything of what they had seen and heard...
CHAPTER XXIII
JERUSALEM
The extraordinary development, revolution and ascent of the Fourth Venustic Serpent, inward and upward through the Medullary Channel of the Mental Body, allowed me to experience all the raw evangelical realism of the masterful entry of the Great KABIR Jesus in Jerusalem.
Then I was able to verify for myself and directly, the lower (Hell) and higher (Heaven) aspects of the Mental World.
Unquestionably, that Scavenger of all fatalities, or Great Apocalyptic Whore, whose number is 666, devolves horrifyingly into the mental hells...
I am certainly not some treacherous iconoclast bent on destroying, like an intellectual vandal, beloved ideals; However, I must confess sincerely and without hesitation, everything that I saw among those “MANASIC” regions of nature.
The reason behind the irrationalities emerges in a vivid, striking form, in the lower region of the planetary concrete mind...
What I perceived with the spatial sense in the mental hells was already said by Saint John, in the Apocalypse:
“Merchandise of gold and silver, and of precious stones and of daisies, and of fine linen, and of scarlet, and of silk, and of scarlet, and of every sweet-smelling wood, and of every vessel of ivory, and of copper, and of iron, and of marble.”
“And cinnamon, and odors, and ointments, and incense, and wine, and oil; and of fine flour and wheat, and of beasts and of sheep; and of horses, and of chariots, and of servants, and of the souls of men.”
Horrible buildings and beds of Procrustes, where the Great Whore incessantly fornicates.
Abominable brothels; disgusting streets, cinema dens where pornographic films are shown, etc., etc., etc.
Going beyond the body, the affections and the mind is essential when we want the triumphal entry into the Jerusalem above. (The Sky of Mercury and then the World of the Spirit).
Let's now look at chapter 21 of Matthew: (Verses 1 to 20).
“And when they approached Jerusalem, and came to Beth`-pha-ge; To the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them: “
“Go to the village that is before you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her; untie her, and bring them to me.”
“And if anyone says anything to you, say: The Lord needs them. And then he will leave them.”
“And all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Prophet, who said”:
“Say to the Daughter of Zion”: “Behold, your King comes to you, Meek, and sitting on a donkey, (symbol of Mind). And on a colt, the son of a yoke animal.”
“And the disciples went and did as Jesus – the Great KABIR – commanded them”;
“And they brought the ass or the colt, and put their clothes and they set him thereon..”
“And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; other cuts down branches from the trees and strawed them in the way,– esoteric –.”
“And the multitudes that went before – on the path of the razor's edge – and that followed, cried saying – on the esoteric path –, saying: Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!
“And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was in moved, saying, Who is this?”
“And the multitude said, This is Jesus, the Prophet, of Nazareth of Galilee.”
“And Jesus went into the Temple of God – the Temple that each one of Us carries within – and cast out all those who sold and bought in the temple – the merchants, the I's that personify our psychological defects – and he overturned the changing tables of moneychangers – Demons who adulterate all that is good – and the seats of those who sold doves; (Damn what...they sell the Third Logos, trading in a way that profanes the Holy Spirit). (Fornicators, prostitutes, lesbians, homosexuals,etc)”;
“And He says unto them: ‘It is written: My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.’” (Thus, the mind is a den of perversity).
“Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.” (People incapable of seeing the truth, and individuals unable to walk the path).
“But the chief priests and the scribes—or intellectuals—seeing the wonders He performed, and the children in the temple crying out, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David!’, they were sore displaced.”
“And they said unto Him, ‘Hearest thou what they say?’ And JESUS said unto them, ‘Yea; have ye never read.: “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfect praise”?’”
“And he left them, and went out of the city to Bethany, and he lodged there.”
“And in the morning, as He was returning to the city, he hungered “And seeing a fig tree by the roadside—a symbol of sexual force—He approached it, but found nothing on it except leaves; and He said to it, ‘May no fruit ever grow on you again.’” “And then the fig tree withered.”
It is written in burning coals in the “Book of Splendors”: “A tree that bears no fruit is cut down and cast into the Fire.”
When Adam and Eve (humanity in its paradisiacal state) ate of the forbidden fruit, the eyes of both were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons.
Gautama, the BUDDHA, sitting for four days and nights in deep meditation in the shade of a fig tree, attained final enlightenment.
In the ancient Egypt of the Pharaohs, the fig tree was always venerated as a living symbol of the Creative Energy of the THIRD LOGOS.
The involuting creatures of the Infernal Worlds are, in truth, barren fig trees that have never borne fruit.
“Upon this ever-green fig tree, a strange inscription could be written; for one of the most characteristic details—often observed during certain types of astral vision—is that this plant remains ever-green and spins around with dizzying speed.”
“A good friend tells me: ‘Within the boundaries of this town, there is a cave of considerable size and height where a fig tree grows—a tree that never sheds its leaves and never bears fruit. It is a common belief—supported by the testimony of several people who claim to have witnessed it—that on the morning of Saint John’s Day, at the break of dawn, a great military troop of specters emerges from this cave, mounted on richly caparisoned warhorses. These warriors, preceded by fantastical banners, head toward the South and vanish into the distance, as if reenacting some long-past historical event.’” (This is taken verbatim from the account of the “Tree of the Hesperides.”) Jesus, the Gnostic High Priest, said:
“The Stone—the Philosopher’s Stone, sex—which the builders rejected (people of many religions), has become the cornerstone.”
“This is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes.”
“Therefore I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruits.” (People capable of practicing Sexual Magic, dissolving the Ego, and sacrificing themselves for their fellow human beings.)
“And whoever falls upon this stone—sex—will be broken; and upon whomever it falls, it will crush him to pieces.”
Unquestionably, only through Sexual Fire is it possible to incinerate all the perverse psychic aggregates that we carry within us, in order to enter the Celestial Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. (See my book titled: *The Mystery of the Golden Flowering*.)
CHAPTER XXIV
THE MOUNT OF OLIVES
The marvelous ascent of the Fifth Serpent of Light—inward and upward through the spinal medullary canal of the Causal Body—granted me, in fact, open access to the initiatic mysteries of the Fifth Degree of Venust Wisdom.
If I have to write down in detail everything I learned then within the thirty-three sacred chambers of the Causal World, it would surely fill an immense volume.
As a Causal Being, I sat with great humility, crossing my arms over my chest to witness the final ceremony...
Unfortunately, I had the poor habit of crossing my arms in such a way that the left rested over the right...
“You must not cross your arms like that,” an Adept of the temple said to me, adding, “The right must go over the left.” I followed his instructions.
Have you ever seen Egyptian sarcophagi? The arms of the deceased, crossed over their chests, illustrate this point.
A skull placed between two crossed bones—a common warning sign—conveys the same meaning.
To carry out the Will of the Father—on Earth as it is in Heaven—and to die in the Lord: this is the profound significance of such a symbol...
The Great KABIR, Jesus, prayed thus on the Mount of Olives:
“My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”
“And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly; and His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.”
“And when He rose up from prayer and came to His disciples, He found them sleeping.” (With their CONSCIOUSNESS asleep). “And He said to them: ‘Why are you sleeping? (Why is your CONSCIENCE asleep?) Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.’ (For those who are asleep will inevitably fall into temptation.)”
Truly, truly I say to you, your Conscience must always remain alert and vigilant, like a sentry in wartime.
It is written: “Before the Rooster (the Word) crows (or becomes incarnate within us), you will deny Me three times.” When the Hierophant “PATAR”—or PETER—forgot himself, he denied the INTIMATE Christ three times.
PETER, PETRA, PIEDRA or STONE —in Phoenician, this referred to the Hierophant himself or the interpreter—is the origin of the famous Gospel phrase: “You are PETER, and upon this ROCK (*stone*) I will build My Church” (our Inner Temple).
Bunsen, in his work *Egypt’s Place in Universal History* (Vol. 5, p. 90), discusses an inscription found on the sarcophagus of a great Queen of the Eleventh Dynasty (2250 BC)—which is, in fact, a transcription from the *Book of the Dead* (dating back to 4500 BC)—interpreting hieroglyphs related to *PETER*, *PATAR*, REVELATION, INITIATION, and so forth. The old medieval ALCHEMISTS were never, in any way, mistaken when they discovered the “Initiatic Stone” within our sexual organs...
Unquestionably, “spilling the Vessel of Hermes”—prostituting the Stone of Truth—is tantamount to denying the Christ...
From the TOTALLY UNKNOWABLE or RADICAL ZERO, at the commencement of a manifestation or Universe, there emanates the Pythagorean Monad, the Word, the Arch-Mage or Hierophant, the ONE-AND-ONLY; the Buddhist *Aunad-ad*, the *Ain-Soph* (or *En Soph*)—the Chaldean *Pneuma-Eikon*—, the *Ruach Elohim* (the Divine Spirit of the Lord) hovering over the Genesiac waters, the self-existent *Anupadaka*, or the Aryan *Manu-Swayambu-Narayana*.
This—the particular Monad of each one of us—transforms into the most sublime Dyad: our own particular, individual Divine Mother, KUNDALINI...
HE and SHE truly constitute the Gnostic “FATHER-MOTHER,” the Parsi *Zeru-ana*, the DUAL PROTOGONOS or ADAM-KADMON, the THEOS-CHAOS of the Theogony of Hesiod, the Chaldean UR-ANAS or Fire and Water, the Egyptian OSIRIS-ISIS, the Semitic JAH-HOVAH JEHOVAH or IOD-HEVE, etc., etc., etc.
The sacrament of the transcendental Church is love. The Sacrament of the Church of LOVE, is the SAHAJA MAITHUNA. (SEXUAL MAGIC).
We must learn to fulfill this Holy Sacrament, vibrating in tune with the Divine couple.
HE Must become the living expression of the Hebrew IOD; SHE must be the living manifestation of HEVE.
THE Kabbalistic ADAM-KADMON, the RHA-SEPHIRA or eternal MASCULINE-FEMININE, conciliating in perfect harmony above and below, in the infinitely great and in the infinitely small, constitute the culminating note of “MOUNT OLIVETI”.
CHAPTER XXV
HELEN THE BEAUTIFUL
The sublime and wonderful ascent of the radiant Sixth Serpent, inward and upward, along the Spinal Medullary Channel of the BUDDHIC Body, gave me, in fact and in my own right, free passage to the Sixth Venustic Initiation...
In the BUDDHIC or UNIVERSAL INTUITIONAL World, I had to experience at that time, some transcendental chapters of the Christ Gospel...
I want to refer now, with great delicacy, to certain mysterious secret passages, intentionally eliminated from the original text by the scribes and doctors of the law.
It is certainly deplorable that the Holy Hebrew Bible has been so cruelly mutilated, adulterated, deformed...
What I then experienced in the cosmic Intuitive region has multiple perfect rhythmic concordances with the various Esoteric Initiatory processes that we must experience here and now.
Extraordinary scenes related to the other planets of the ORS Solar System, in which we live, move and have Our Being.
When the Sixth Viper of Resplendent Light crossed the august threshold of its corresponding chamber in the tranquil heart, the Midnight Sun gloriously shone in the unalterable infinity...
I entered the temple of Initiation accompanied by many people; Each of us in the procession carried in our right hand a burning candle, candle or torch...In those moments I felt myself experiencing those Esoteric, Christic verses that literally say:
“And then, while he was still speaking, there came Judas, who was one of the twelve, and with him a company with swords and clubs, from the Chief Priests, (or men constituted by worldly authority), and from the scribes (that is, from those considered wise in the world), and of the elderly (those considered prudent, sensible and discreet in the world).”
“And when Judas (the Demon of Desire) came, he immediately approached him and said to him: Master. And he kissed him.”
“Then they laid their hands on him and took him.”
Inebriated with ecstasy, I exclaimed: I am the Christ! A LADY-ADEPT admonished me, saying: “Be careful! Don't say that, it's disrespectful."
“I'm representing him right now,” I replied. The Holy Lady then maintained a respectful silence.
The Cosmic Drama within the temple of the transparent walls had a certain Majestic flavor, very serious, terribly Divine...
Becoming the central character, I had to experience the following Gospel passages in myself:
“And they brought JESUS to the High Priest: Caiaphas (the Demon of Ill Will) and all the Chief Priests (the official authorities of this world) and the elders (the very respectable and experienced people) and the scribes (the intellectuals) gathered around him.”
“And the Chief Priests and the entire Council sought testimony against JESUS (the Inner Savior), to hand him over to death, but they did not find it.” “For many bore false testimony against him, but their testimonies did not agree.”
“Then some stood up and bore false witness against him, saying:”
“We have heard him say: I will tear down this temple that is made with hands (referring to the animal Body) and in three days I will build another made without hands” (the Spiritual Body, the TO SOMA HELIAKON).
“Even so, their testimony was not agreed upon.”
“Then the High Priest (with his Bad Will), rising in the middle, asked JESUS, saying: Don't you answer something? What do these testify against you?
“But he was silent and answered nothing:” (Silence is the Eloquence of Wisdom).
“The High Priest asked him again, and said to him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of God?” (The Second Logos).
“And JESUS said to him: I AM (HE IS), and you will see the Son of Man (every true Christified or OSIRIFIED) sitting at the right hand of the power of God (the First Logos), and coming in the clouds of Heaven.”
“Then the High Priest (the Demon of Ill-Will) tore his garments and said: What more do we need witnesses?”
“You have heard blasphemy: What do you think? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.”
“And some began to spit on him, and cover his face, and slap him, and say to him, Prophesy. And the servants slapped him.”
“And immediately in the morning, when the Chief Priests had taken counsel with the elders and with the scribes, and with the whole council, they brought JESUS bound, and handed him over to Pilate.”
“And Pilate (the Demon of the Mind) asked him: Art thou the King of the Jews?” “And he answered and said unto him, Thou hast said it.”
“And the Chief Priests (the authorities of this world) accused him greatly.”
“And Pilate asked him again, saying, Do you not answer something? Look how many things they accuse you of.” (All people accuse the Internal Christ, even those who call themselves his followers).
“But JESUS (The INTIMATE Christ) did not even respond with that. (I repeat: Silence is the eloquence of wisdom). Pilate (The Demon of the Mind) marveled.”
“However, on the day of the festival I released a prisoner, anyone they asked for.”
“And there was one called Barabbas (the Demon of perversity that everyone carries within), imprisoned with his
“...fellow rioters who had committed murder during an uprising” (For the EGO is always murderous and evil).
“And as the crowd gathered, they began to ask him to do as he had always done for them.”
“And Pilate answered them, saying, ‘Do you want me to release the King of the Jews to you?’”
“For he knew that it was out of envy that the chief priests (authorities of every kind) had handed Him over.”
“But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have Barabbas released to them instead.” (Authorities of every kind defend the EGO. They say: First ME, second ME, third ME.)
“And Pilate answered them again, ‘What, then, do you want me to do with the One you call the King of the Jews?’”
“And they shouted back, ‘Crucify Him!’” (Crucifixion! Crucifixion! Crucifixion!).
I emerged from the ineffable *Sancta* in an ecstatic state, having directly experienced the tremendous, intimate realism of all the verses cited in the lines above.
Clad in a new robe of Glory—a resplendent, full-length garment—I stepped out of the Great Cathedral of the Soul...
How blissful I felt as I gazed from there upon the vast panorama! Then, I beheld the ebb and flow of all things...
BUDDHI is like a vessel of fine, transparent alabaster, within which burns the flame of PRAJNA...
ATMAN—the BEING—possesses two Souls. The first is the Spiritual Soul, which is feminine (BUDDHI). The second is the Human Soul, which is masculine (HIGHER MANAS).
The “intellectual animal”—mistakenly called “MAN”—has only the ESSENCE incarnated within it.
Manifestly, this essence is the *Budhata*—a tiny fraction of the Human Soul—the psychic material from which the “Golden Embryo” can and must be fashioned. (See *The Mystery of the Golden Flowering*).
The SOURCE and FOUNDATION of High Magic lie in the perfect betrothal of BUDDHI-MANAS, whether in the purely spiritual realms or within the terrestrial world.
The name HELEN clearly signifies the betrothal of NOUS (ATMA-BUDDHI) to MANAS (the Human or Causal Soul)—a union through which CONSCIOUSNESS and WILL become identified, thereby endowing both Souls with Divine powers...
The essence of ATMAN—that primordial, eternal, and universal Divine Fire—is contained within BUDDHI, which, in complete conjunction with MANAS... CAUSAL (HUMAN SOUL) determines the MASCULINE-FEMININE.
The beautiful HELEN of Troy is the same HELEN found in Goethe’s *Faust*—the SHAKTI, or feminine potency, of the Inner Being...
HE and SHE—BUDDHI-MANAS—are the Twin Souls within us (even if the “INTELLECTUAL ANIMAL” has not yet embodied them); they are the two adorable daughters of ATMAN (THE INTIMATE)—a Husband and Wife eternally in love...
Such love has infinite correspondences: in the paired binary stars of the heavens, and in the relationship between the Earth and the Moon; in the protoplasmic “AMPHIASTER” of the cells—which, as is well known, governs the mysterious phenomenon of karyokinesis, or the morphological duplication of a single cell; and in the universal symbolism found in epic poems and literature at large, where the ideal love between two beings of opposite sex serves as the *alma mater*—the nourishing soul—of literary creation.
Undoubtedly, the “SAHAJA MAITHUNA”—as a sacrament within the Church of LOVE—is mirrored by these Twins within the AKASHA TATTVA, and continues in its glorious form through OSIRIS and ISIS within the realm of ANUPADAKA.
CLARIFICATION: When we mention the Church of LOVE, consider. Naturally, this refers to SEX. is the Church of LOVE.
The theory of Soulmates entails no danger whatsoever when we grasp its profound significance.
Chemical Coitus—metaphysical copulation—shines gloriously at the zenith of the Ideal, without the slightest shadow of impurity...
True, legitimate romantic love is never separate from SEX. The sexual act is, in fact, the consubstantiation of love within the psycho-physiological reality of our nature.
The *Buddhi-Manas* union is possible only through Chemical Coitus. Sexual pleasure is a legitimate right of the human being.
Renato made the grave error of emphatically asserting that the Helen of Simon Magus was a beautiful woman of flesh and blood—whom the aforementioned Magus had encountered in a brothel in Tyre—and who, according to his biographers, was the reincarnation of the Greek Helen.
Such a notion does not withstand in-depth analysis: authentic initiatic schools teach, with absolute clarity, that the beautiful Helen is *Buddhi*—the spiritual soul of the sixth *Venustic* initiation—the potential feminine *Shakti*.
