I've just come to the conclusion that ultrasound and its countless possible advanced applications might become one of the most important technological breakthroughs since the discovery of electricity.
Not only can ultrasound be used to induce nuclear fusion reactions, but it also has various technical and last but not least great medical potential.
Recently I was lucky enough to get an old but powerful therapeutic ultrasound device which proved to surprisingly effectively relieve a lot of my chronic back pains for a remarkably long time!
The form of therapeutic ultrasound that I just started to use regularly now might be best compared to a super fast and very deep massage of the treated body tissues!
I guess that not even a 48 hour non-stop manual massage was - at least from a physical point of view - as effective as 20 minutes of therapeutic ultrasound application!!
Although I first had concerns regarding the safety and or side effects of it, I now came to the conclusion that as long as you would readily listen to warn signals from your body chances are very low that any possible damage would overweight the clearly evident positive effects.
Apart from that I started sensing that ultrasound in general has an incredible broad spectrum of possible applications which seemingly can hardly be overestimated...

It seems very obvious that as in so many fields you have archived great understanding about it.
Therefore I wonder which applications of ultrasound you consider to be the most beneficial for this developing planet. :) Would you like to enlighten us about your perspective in this regard?
